Prep Day Spa located in Barbados is headed by Cermara Agard who is well known within the Esthetics Industry locally, regionally as well as internationally. With over 17 years in the business, Cermara’s brand has become a force to be reckoned with. Cermara started her studies at the young age of 16 at The Samuel Jackman Polytechnic in Barbados. After graduating top of the Esthetics Class, Cermara was offered a job attachment at The Spa at the Sandy Lane Hotel. She then moved on to extensively train with the well known Elemis Skincare Line at the then Suga Suga Spa. During this training, she was exposed to different massage modalities and techniques such as Deep Tissue, Thai and Pre-natal just to name a few. She also became versed in the various facial, manicure and pedicure services. Cermara continued at the Spa for five years until its closure. Continuos learning has always been the bedrock of the business and so annually their House of Nailzz team could be spotted at The Premiere Orlando Trade Show in order to keep abreast with international standards and best practices. Cermara also attended workshops with several international and regional artistes. She was exposed to knowledge at the “hands” of Mindy Hardy, VinChen Tran (Vincent Nails), Poochieznails, Glamsusie, Ugly Duckling Nails, Helen of HelenNails as well as Evon Yen Vuong (nailsby_evon) just to name a few.
