La Lucia is the best hair salon in Vancouver! The entire team is friendly, the salon is spotless, and they only use high-quality products. My hairstylist is Andy, and I’ve had several haircuts with him — he’s professional, detail-oriented, and truly a perfectionist. I’ve never once regretted getting my hair done by him.

This is a 5.0 star review. My stylist was ANDY. I have had many bad experiences with hair cut services. I have necessitated only 2 visits to hospital emergency since living in Metro Vancouver. Both were the result of a bad experience at a salon or barber. I can't disclose the specific issues treated by compassionate doctors, but they were true emergencies that couldn't wait for a walk-in clinic the next day. To me it is thus necessary to protect myself against bad behaviour. Andy EXCEEDED expectations results wise and is the most attentive and respectful stylist I've ever met.

I had an amazing experience with Jane! She recommended a highlight color that I would never have chosen on my own, and I am so glad I trusted her expertise. The color complements my skin tone perfectly and suits my features so beautifully. She paid great attention to detail and blended the highlights flawlessly. It was my first time getting my hair dyed so I thought I was being quite ambitious with my choice of style and colour, but Fiona walked me through the process during my entire 5+ hour appointment to help me better understand why she was doing so and so! She was patient and kind with me even as I was a bit clumsy during the process, and I appreciate that a lot since I’m a somewhat shy and anxious person. My friends absolutely adore my new hair, and they were equally as excited as I was to see the final product! Thank you so much Fiona and to the other staff as well!

I can honestly say no matter how much I say Tina’s work is amazing, it still wouldn’t be enough! If you’re someone sensitive and picky about your hair like I am, I 100% recommend going to Tina — you’ll leave happy and genuinely satisfied. She worked non-stop on my hair, listened so carefully to exactly what I wanted, and recreated it perfectly, exactly like the examples on her Instagram. I found her through my nail artist, and I’m beyond happy with my highlights. Thank you Tina for your patience, attention to detail, and incredible work!

Started off with a dark brown, ended up with a level 9 blonde with light pink highlights, and oh my god. so so amazing. my hair is still somehow soft and curly, and still a beautiful blonde. Would 100% recommend! (will definitely be coming back again!)

Bisou Hair Salon is excellent in their hair care service. I went as a walk-in and got my hair cut and roots done twice. I personally liked the clean ambience and professionalism from start to end in their service. Its really worth every penny spent. I would definitely recommend this salon to my friends. Jamie did an incredible job! This was my second appointment, and once again I’m so impressed with the results. She took the time to truly understand my needs and carefully analyzed the right color and haircut for my hair. The final result looks amazing, I honestly can’t stop admiring it. If you’re looking for a skilled Korean hair stylist who understands face shape and knows how to create the right layered haircut, Jamie is the one to go to. I’ll definitely be back, and if Jamie ever opens her own salon, I’d follow without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Anne did a great job with my hair highlights. She took time to listen to what i wanted and gave options on what she can do with my hair. Very attentive for 4 straight hours. And gave great tips on how to make sure i can keep my hair color stay pretty.

Had a great experience with Ann. Came in to get a haircut and colour and she was thorough to explain about what my hair needs prior. In the end, my hair came out really great which I love. Also I appreciated how she mentioned the price breakdown prior and they offered snacks during my appointment. Overall experience was great! Would definitely be coming back.

Tylore’s salon is a warm and comforting space tucked away in East Van. I had a lovely experience from start to finish. Tylore was super friendly and attentive, with an amazing eye for detail. My peekaboo highlights turned out exactly how I envisioned them, and I’m absolutely in love with the results. Bonus points if you love dogs — Queenie is the sweetest! 🐶
