Very quaint spa in downtown Vancouver. Anna was my masseuse and she was very cordial and skillful. My neck and shoulder tension greatly improved at the end of the session. I came here for a couple coconut oil massage with my partner to celebrate his birthday. After the treatment, we enjoyed a cup of refreshing treat and Japanese treat In a private, traditionally decorated room. Thank you Sanatio!

This was so calming and peaceful. My skin was lifted and glowing as i left from a facial but the head spa experience all around was superb! The head massage and treatments were relaxing and healing. Ending with the leg massage was incredible. Would recommend Auska 110% She makes your journey into the best experience possible with quiet nuturing atmosphere and attention. Will make this a must a future trips to Vancouver BC!

Quite honestly the best massage I have ever had. Yumi read my muscle tension to the tee and the pressure was PERFECT for the entire treatment. I wish I would have found this place sooner as am not from Vancouver and this will be my last trip here for a while. Only thing that caught me off guard was the level of static in the massage table dressings. Pre and post massage experience were phenomenal.

My experience was absolutely wonderful! Rina was incredibly sweet, and the massage was both relaxing and refreshing. I also really enjoyed chatting with her about Japan and sharing some of my own stories—it made the visit feel even more special. The hospitality and service were outstanding. If I’m ever in Vancouver again, I would definitely come back!

We did the couples combo korugi/kobido massage. Very relaxing that we fell asleep! We started off with an essential oil foot soak and was led to a couples for the massage. Was able to adjust pressure and overall very relaxing that I had to fight to stay awake. Massage ended in a separate tea room with a rice cracker and hot tea. Overall very pleased, will book again the next time we visit Vancouver!

Absolutely must try this place! The vibe is amazing from the moment they open the door for you to when they see you out the door. It’s so peaceful and perfect for anyone who needs some de-stressing. Totally worth the price and you can’t find anywhere else in Vancouver like this. The owner talked to me for about 15 minutes before my appointment because I arrived early. She’s so sweet and super chill. From the head massage, to face massage, then the hair wash to the shoulder and back massage after, it was really enjoyable!

Nikki was AMAZING!! I went for body oil massage and LED therapy for my face but I wasn’t sure if the LED was a suitable option for me so, Nikki helped me to choose an option that best suits me. She suggested I go for a body detox and a head massage and it was GREAT!! The body massage was amazing as well, the oil bag, the hot stone and the massages were just fantastic! I am definitely going back 🫶🏻❤️

Really great service every time! They’re super patient and always understand exactly what I want. I always feel like a valued customer. I’ve been going for over 2 years now and I’m always happy with the results. Always a great experience at L’atelier. I’ve been there a few times and have had different Estheticians and all of them pay great attention to detail and take care of you from start to finish. For my 2 recent appointments, I’ve had Hannie as my esthetician coincidentally and I’m impressed that she even remembered my nail preferences!
