Best Hair Salons near me in Islington - City Centre West, Toronto

Tried this salon for the first time. Moved into the area 4 years ago but have not had luck in finding a good salon nearby (coming from downtown Toronto, which had great salons just walking distances away). I went in for my roots and Davide was my stylist. He was incredibly professional and experienced. I am very satisfied with his work and am looking forward to going back!

Angie is by far one of the BEST stylists I’ve had in Toronto. She’s super friendly but best of all she genuinely took the time to give me the exact haircut I wanted and paid some attention to detail. Elevate will be my go to salon from now on, looking forward to being back soon!

Tasha is the best hairstylist I've ever had since I moved to Toronto! She's experienced, kind, patient, flexible and such a good listener, making sure you feel your most beautiful self. I recommend her services to any woman, especially Black women tired of spending hundreds of dollars in salons with hairstylists who do not genuinely care about their triggers.

Rockstar salon that has a costal California vibe on the borders of South Etobicoke and New Toronto! Once again, Elevate delivers. A beachy weekend wave, this time grey tone. Going in w/Covid Grey (aka au natural) and Elevate rolled with it, no colour, rather added a few volumizing Perfectly matched extensions and did an iron beachy wave. Super reasonable pricing. Awesome talent here. Good company too. If you want to stay (or go) anywhere in the blonde-grey spectrum book with Elevate (Pam, Erin & Maria) Getting your hair right is serious business, you can trust this spot.

I love this place. The staff are very friendly, but also sensitive to the times when you have an appointment at the end of the day, and are too tired for conversation. I have seen multiple practitioners for cuts, colour, and many of the esthetician services, and have always been pleased. I shopped around when I first came to Toronto before I found a place I was satisfied with.

Ever since i found this place, i’ve been coming here everytime i need a haircut, Olena does really good with my haircuts, i remember when she wasn’t even sure about the style I like, but she pulled through and made it even better that what i expected! she’s so gentle, nice, and makes sure that everything is perfect. 100/100 won’t go anywhere else to get my hair cut. except here where she’s at!

I had been looking for a new stylist for years and was highly recommended to Pamela by high end resort/spa and I've been a client (and my daughter's) for a decade! Pamela is THE expert in color, I'm Asian and color tends to turn brassy but not anymore 😁 she KNOWS color, texture and style ... triple threat! Her beauty, energy and soul is reflected in the grace she extends to everyone who walks in the door and amazing team.

Jess is a magical and down to earth magician. I have had ideas/what I’m not into, and she translates that into my hair. To make it better than I envisioned! IYKYK: I moved to the neighbourhood with no background, loyal to a salon for 15+ yrs downtown Toronto as my “trusted advisor”. While I love and continue to love them, the commute was a thing. The space. The vibe. The calibre or artistry- everyone who work here is talented. I also appreciate their continuous learning. It’s a gem of a business and I would highly recommend.

They are both incredibly talented and took the time to truly listen to exactly what I wanted for my haircut and hair colour. Their attention to detail and expertise really shined through. They exceeded my expectations in every way. I am completely in love with my hair and will definitely be returning!
