Getting started
After you submit a card terminal request, our team will review it and then send you an email with instructions to purchase your terminal. Before ordering a Fresha card terminal:
- You will need to set up payment processing.
Ordering a card terminal
To submit a card terminal request:
- Open Workspace settings and select Payments, then Card terminals.
- Click Order a terminal.
- Enter the requested details about your business.
- Add your contact details and click Send request.
Fresha will review your request and send a confirmation email once approved.
Purchasing a card terminal
The approval confirmation email will include a payment link which can be used to purchase your card terminal.
To purchase a card terminal:
- Open the approval email and click on the payment link or open Add-ons then Payments.
- Review your order summary and add your payment method.
- Add shipping details and click Pay now.
Once your payment has been processed, our team will package your card terminal and aim to deliver it within three working days. We’ll send you an email with a tracking link when your card terminal has been dispatched. You can track the status of your request under Card terminals in your account.
After receiving your card terminal, you’ll need to get this activated.

No, card terminals come with the Fresha logo to create a cohesive checkout experience.
There are no monthly rental fees. Aside from the initial cost to purchase a card terminal, you’ll only need to pay a low transaction fee.
Fresha’s card terminals are fully integrated with your business account. Ensure you can connect to WiFi or use a mobile hotspot, as the terminal must be connected to the internet.
When you receive an approval email, you can either purchase the terminal through the provided link or cancel by discarding the email. The request will expire automatically if not completed.
Yes, Fresha’s card terminal is classed as EFTPOS (Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale) as it allows you to take payments from clients in-store for the appointments connected to your Fresha account.
If you find your terminal needs frequent charging, we'd recommend rebooting the device, performing a hard reset and charging the terminal for at least 30 minutes. If the issue persists, contact us, using your registered email, and our support team will assist you.
