Collect payments through Fresha gift cards

How Fresha gift cards work
There are two types of gift cards on Fresha: Fresha gift cards and business gift cards. Fresha gift cards can be redeemed at any verified venue on the Fresha marketplace, while individual venues issue business gift cards that can only be used at their business.
Here, we'll cover Fresha gift cards. Clients can purchase them directly through the Fresha marketplace. Once purchased, the client can claim their gift, and once claimed, it will appear in their wallet and under their payment methods when making a booking or completing a purchase. When a Fresha gift card is used for payment, the funds are transferred directly to your workspace wallet.
Collect payment from a gift card saved to a client
- To create a new sale, you can either raise a new sale or select Checkout from an appointment and make any adjustments to the cart.
- In the right panel of the cart view, click on the Continue to payment button at the bottom.
- In the left panel under the client's payment methods, select the available Fresha gift card.
- Click on the Pay now button at the bottom to process the client's payment and complete the sale.
Once the payment has been collected, the funds from the Fresha gift card go directly to your workspace wallet. A sale receipt is also created, which you can share with the client by email or print.
As a shortcut, the Pay now button on same-day appointments will show the Fresha gift card option during checkout.
