Collect payments through Fresha gift cards
In this guide, you’ll learn how to accept payments using Fresha gift cards when checking out appointments and sales.
How Fresha gift cards work
Fresha gift cards can be redeemed for services or products at any verified venue on the Fresha marketplace. Clients purchase gift cards directly through the marketplace, and once bought, the card appears in their wallet and under their payment methods when making a booking or completing a purchase.
When a gift card is used for payment, the funds are transferred directly to your workspace wallet.
Collect a payment for a same-day appointment
If the client has a Fresha gift card, it appears in the appointment view when completing a same-day appointment, and you can use it to take a payment immediately.
- Open an existing appointment from your Calendar.
- In the right panel of the appointment view, click on the Pay now button at the bottom to immediately use the Fresha gift card.
Once the payment has been collected, the funds from the Fresha gift card go directly to your workspace wallet. A sale receipt is also created, which you can share with the client by email or print.
Collect a payment at checkout
You can collect payments using a client's Fresha gift card when completing an appointment or sale.
After building your cart and making any adjustments, you’re ready to take a payment using the client's saved card.
- In the right panel of the cart view, click on the Continue to payment button at the bottom.
- In the left panel under the client's payment methods, select the available Fresha gift card.
- Click on the Pay now button at the bottom to process the client's payment and complete the sale.
Once the payment has been collected, the funds from the Fresha gift card go directly to your workspace wallet. A sale receipt is also created, which you can share with the client by email or print.
