About launching your website
Smart Website makes it easy to create and publish a professional website, ready for visitors to discover your business and book online. Start by selecting a customizable template, already filled with your services, team, reviews, and more. As you make changes to your business in Fresha, your details automatically update on your website too.
Every website includes a customizable Fresha domain. You can also buy a new custom domain or connect one you already own to use as your web address.
Publish your website straight away or keep it private to continue customizing later. Your design doesn’t need to be final when you first set up your website, so you can continue making it your own at any time.
A desktop device is required to design your website and complete your set up.
Create and publish your website

From the main menu on the left of your screen, go to Online presence.

Select Smart Website from the left menu panel.

Continue through to choose a design for your website.

Select a template and choose the color palette and font pack to start shaping your design.

In the website builder, customize your design, content, images and more to suit your business before continuing to the next step.

Select the type of domain you want launch your website with and follow the steps to get set up:
- Fresha domain: Customize the Fresha web address included with your website.
- Custom domain: Purchase your own brand new custom web address unique to your business through Fresha.
- Existing domain: Connect a domain you already own to continue using your existing web address.

Select your payment method, then click Enable.

Choose when to launch your website:
- Publish now: Publish your website straight away for visitors to find online.
- Publish later: Keep your website private as a draft until you’re ready to publish.
Your Smart Website has been created. You can continue customizing it or change the domain at any time.
If you purchase a new domain or choose to use one you already own, it can take up to 48 hours to connect to your Smart Website.
FAQs
Yes. While editing your website, click Preview (play button) in the top right. From Preview mode, switch between Desktop and Mobile views to see how your website looks on different devices, and use the website menu to preview each page.
Yes, you can unpublish your website at anytime. To do this and return it to a draft, go to your Smart Website homepage. Under Actions, select Unpublish from the dropdown menu. In the pop-up, click Unpublish website to confirm that your website will be offline in draft mode.
Yes. You can manage your domains at any point by adding a new one or changing your primary domain. If you launch your website with your included Fresha domain, you can always add a new custom domain or an existing one when you’re ready.
Yes. You can edit your design and content at any time, whether you keep your website unpublished as a draft or publish it and make further changes later.
Smart Website is available on mobile to enable and manage your website from anywhere. For the full design experience, customizing your website takes place on desktop, giving you more space to shape your design and make it your own.
