Buff is by far the best nail salon in Edinburgh. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else! I most regularly go to Ana and Holly, who are amazing, but chop and change appointments a lot and have never been disappointed with my nails, whoever does them. I strongly recommend Buff!

Sarah was recommended to me by my dear friend Cat whose advice I trust implicitly. I have been looking for a wonderful nail technician for years since moving to Edinburgh. I absolutely loved my entire experience with Sarah. Sarah is a gorgeous and talented human being who pours an immense amount of dedication and precision to her craft. It was a joy to sit with her as we chatted through our individual passions and she explained the entire process as I had never had a gel manicure before. Sarah was an utterly joy and I LOVE my manicure! I will absolutely be back in three weeks.

Sarah does the best manicure I have found in Edinburgh. A lovely quiet salon, high level of attention to detail, beautiful manicure with plenty of colours and designs to choose from. Highly recommend if you want perfect looking nails!

Tessa was amazing! So methodical and great attention to detail while also consistently checking in about pressure level and my general preferences. This is seriously the best manicure I have ever received and it was the relaxing, warm environment made it all the better. The shape/color of my nails are spot on and exactly what I wanted. Sadly I don’t live in Edinburgh currently, but if I did, I would get my nails done by Tessa exclusively. Thank you for a wonderful experience and good luck with the rest of your training!

Febae is, as always, an incredible artist who is meticulous with her work. I got an infill, my last set from her( bugs in amber) lasted 7 weeks! She takes immense time and care with the cuticle work, building the nail structure with the BIAB— even for short nails. Her artistry is incredible. I come in with mostly loose ideas; This time a couple of pins and a watercolour of a mountain as a reference. She took my direction and gave me a gorgeous set with such expressive play of color and shape on just the tips while matching the nailbed. Always a delight ♥️

I have been going to Leila for 7 years now, and every time I sit down at her chair she blows me away with her talent and artistry. No crazy maximalist inspo picture I bring in is ever too much and her execution is just 10/10. Her products are wonderful and the range of colours and glitters will legit blow your mind. I always feel my nail health is at the forefront of Leila’s services, as she has so much knowledge and experience. I started off as a client but I can say the atmosphere that Leila created in her salon is safe and inclusive and I have truly found a friend who also does my nails 😂💅🏼👏🏼

Amazing nail experience! Corrine is super attentive when it comes to nail prep and I always walk out LOVING my nails! It’s the best time of the month! This was my third time getting my nails done by Ella (biab on short nails with nail art 1 ). She is a very talented artist and has created fanominal sets with various nature themed designs I've asked for using colour and textures (fall cat eye leaves, twinkly butterfly sea slugs, wintery holly and robins). She is creative and attentive and I highly recommend booking in with her! 6 starts!

My first and surely not the last visit! Had such a great appointment with lovely Febae who really rescued my nails. You’ve done magic! Since I've been doing my own nails for a long time, I have a good eye and am prob not the easiest client. But you worked so precisely and neatly – that really put me at ease. I had nail appointment with Magda today and couldn't be happier with the experience. She was incredibly attentive throughout the appointment, making sure every detail was perfect and that I was comfortable the whole time. Her skill and precision really show in the finished result. On top of her talent, Magda brought such positive, friendly vibes that made the appointment genuinely enjoyable. She was warm, professional, and clearly passionate about her work. I’ve been going to Magda for a while and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my nails. Her gel and polygel work is flawless — she’s brought every inspiration I’ve thrown at her to life, florals, marble with gold foil, seasonal art, you name it. She uses proper sterile techniques that are somehow rare here, and it shows. No shortcuts, no rushing, just really good work done properly. Appointments come with unlimited chat, laughter and coffee, absolutely free. Every visit flies by. The name says Happy Nails by Magda - I can confirm: both me AND my nails leave happy every time. Highly recommend.
