After 3 years of living in Edinburgh and trying different places I am so glad I found VelvetBrows! I always used to end up with thin eyebrows after threading which I always told any beautician I don’t want before starting, however Zivile really listens and she’s done a tremendous job in shaping my eyebrows (threading only) without thinning them. She is very professional and very passionate about what she does, I would strongly recommend Velvet Brows! Now I need to look no further as I’ll always come back here

After 15 years living in Edinburgh I finally found a place where I can truly take care of my skin and body. I always feel welcomed here—the beauticians are kind, attentive, and highly professional. Weronika, the owner, is amazing: skilled, knowledgeable, and honestly a total badass 😎❤️. This time I had waxing, eyebrow shaping, and a vacuum massage. Everything was done with top-level professionalism, and I even received a little Christmas gift, which was such a lovely surprise. I highly recommend this place. Merry Christmas! 🎁🎄

Amazing just amazing! Brooke is the best hairdresser ever she is quick, efficient, understands just what you want, and has amazing attention to detail. There has never been a time where I’ve been frustrated or didn’t like the work she has done, and she always advices me the best way she can about hairstyles. She’s just out of this world and if I ever move from Edinburgh I’ll have to come back every once in a while to get my hair done.

Best salon in Edinburgh. I've had appointments here with Evgeniy for manicure, Maryna for pedicure and Lesya for a haircut. I literally could not praise them enough. All of the staff here are lovely and highly professional. The prices are very good and competitive to other places in town. What makes this place stand out is the incredible attention to detail. I absolutely love getting my brows and lashes done with Kay. She always has good chat and listens to what I want, whilst offering advice and explaining how each treatment works in detail. I’ve gone from someone who would have the odd eyebrow wax every few months to someone who counts down the days to their lash and brow appointment!

Another fabulous appointment with Simmy, never fails to wow me with her results! First time trying a brow treatment and went for the refined brows and super happy with the results, my brows are suited to my face and have not been over plucked or made too dark! Paired with a lash lift I’m sorted for the next few months now!

She’s an amazing professional who takes into consideration every aspect of a client’s request. I walk out of every appointment feeling beautiful and fully satisfied with the result.
