I've been coming to Moods for many years , and have always loved Chad's attention to detail and his ability to bring out the the very best in my hair ! Even after moving to Powell River a few years ago , I still decided to come back to Moods because I have not experienced anyone with as much expertise, knowledge, and at the same time, grace and humility as Chad. The salon itself is so lovely and has a tranquility and sense of peace as soon as you walk in and are greeted at the front desk. I always feel beautiful when I have had a session with Chad and I recommend Moods to everyone!

May was such an attentive and knowledgeable hairstylist. She really knows hair coloring techniques and my color + haircut session went above and beyond my expectations. The best salon I have been to since I moved to Canada. I have been looking for a salon similar to where I used to go to back home in San Francisco and I finally found it. From the ambience, service and talent Salon de Nuvida is top tier. I booked with Sarah and I will definitely be booking with her from now on. She was not only pleasant and friendly but very knowledgeable and honest. She took her time and explained everything she was doing and what would look best for my hair type and face frame. They also gave complimentary tea, coffee or juice and chocolates. Overall amazing experience!

I loved my first visit at Hairsoda. Ruth did a perfect job highlighting and toning my hair - a tricky job since I have dark brown hair and grey coming in the crown area. They use products that are not overly perfumed and the salon has a cool, laid back vibe. Ruth and her son own the salon. I'll be back.

Hatz Hair Salon truly is the best salon I have ever been to. I am so happy to have found this salon. Jules is an amazing colourist and truly understands correction colour. Love this place! I've had the same hairdresser for years but she went on vacation so I tried this salon and had an appointment with Marina for haircut and scalp treatment (so relaxing!). She's so nice and did an excellent job with my haircut. Highly recommended :)

It was good except there is no blow dry with a round brush etc. it is just a drying with a hair dryer and running fingers through the hair. It felt great but looked worse than when I arrived for the appointment. I had to go home to finish before I could head out for the evening. Maybe just me but I would like to feel and look good when I leave a salon.
