Marie is an amazing colourist with a wealth of experience, and passion to make your hair shine. After 30 years of having foils I’ve had ALL the experiences (blondes you know what I’m saying) and Marie is the best I’ve come across. Her blonde is fresh, bright, natural, and all without a trace of damage to my aging treated hair. I hesitate to let the secret out, but she is honestly one of Cairns very best colourists. I feel safe and comfortable with my blonde in her hands, you can trust her professionalism and experience to give you the most gorgeous blonde without any of the stress or damage.

Very relaxing. Not like the usual “busy” salons I have experienced in the past in Cairns. I felt like I was treated with dignity & respect. Every ingredient was explained to me. Sally was very thoughtful, asked me what tea I would like to drink during the foot spa session, & engaged in providing quality time with my feet, toes and lower limb massage. I will be returning to Serene Retreat when I am in Cairns again next. Serene Retreat is now my new chosen place of serenity for receiving an ultimate pedicure and massage.

First time booking in with Jess to get the eyebrow sculpt and tint! Jess was amazing, from the moment I arrived I felt so at home! She did my daughter's brow lamination, sculpt and dye the day before and she was so impressed with the experience so knew I had to give her a go! I’ve already booked my next app and so has my other daughter! Would 100% recommend Jess, so happy to have found her and her gem of a business 💕🌸

There’s lots to be said about a person based on how they treat you in your vulnerabilities. I could write a thesis on Helena and her character, business aside she always does her job so so well and I couldn’t be happier with the services and results but it’s the behind the scenes additional personalised and tailored care that isn’t just between the set “work hours” that separates her from everyone else. Needing to reinvent a different scale metric because 5 stars isn’t enough!
