Paige is amazing at her job, from the moment you enter the salon. She’s friendly, smiling and welcoming, giving you the most high quality treatments. All while you can tell she loves her job and clients. I’ve been getting my dermaplaning/blackhead extraction for a long time and with my regular monthly membership I never need to worry about getting booked in or forgetting to keep my top up scheduled. My skins is always clearer smooth and silky afterwards and Paige even sometimes give the little extras when she feels it’s needed. My fav part is always the head massage at the end 🥰

Alex is the most lovely soul you’ll ever meet! First time meeting her for an extraction facial and she makes you feel so comfortable and at peace right away. I cannot recommend About Face enough! I was drawn to the salon as they were the only place in Canberra offering extraction focused facials, and I am so happy I booked. Jess was so professional yet personable, I left feeling refreshed inside and out. Absolutely amazing! 🤍 Such a kind, caring, and professional beautician who always goes the extra mile. I have acne-prone skin, and she always gives helpful skincare advice and even takes the time to remove a few blackheads while waiting for the wax to dry. She genuinely cares about her clients and makes every appointment such a great experience. I highly recommend her services!

Since I'm a regular here, the 4 stars are meant for the spa. I love the therapist, but the facilities could be improved. For the DMK rank, the facilities should include a steamer and better tools for extraction.

Had the most amazing extraction facial with Ferda. My skin felt deeply cleansed, smoother and noticeably less congested straight after. She was so gentle, professional, and explained everything throughout the treatment which made me feel completely comfortable. You can tell she genuinely understands skin and cares about results.

10/10 experience at Silk Beauty with Claudine 💙, I just went for a basic steam and extraction but i went in with textured skin because of clogged pores and came out with smooth skin! 100% would recommend

Just had my first facial and blackhead extraction with Selina. I’ve heard a few mates talk good things about this treatment so I wanted to give it a shot and I’m glad I did! Selina did an amazing job talking me through the treatment and I was blown away by how many blackheads she pulled out 😂 My nose is probably the cleanest it’s ever been. As a male, It’s one of those things I didn’t realise I needed until I tried it. I’m definitely making this a regular thing! The settings are also very relaxing and on a lovely park estate. Highly recommend!

This is my second time getting a facial at Salty Face and it was absolutely perfect, so relaxing and so much better than any facials I’ve had in Australia. Melisa was lovely, very careful with the extractions so they didn’t hurt and explained all the steps to the treatment as she was doing it. My eyebrow lamination and eyelash tint was also amazing! Highly recommend 😊

Vivien was amazing. I got two facials for me and my partner and she did such a wonderful job with extracting all of our blackhead and whiteheads really made a difference. She is very attentive and gentle and walks you through every step. i recommend you book with her her and i will definitely be booking again and again and again !! 🩷

Nydia has been my go-to for detailed extractions for my sensitive skin, where her thorough work has made my skin clearer from my first session earlier in the year! her lymphatic drainage skills and attention to detail are excellent – completely unlike chain salons, so don’t sleep on the bojin offerings either

Had an extraction facial at Aura Whiteley and it was a really nice experience. The massage was honestly super relaxing and the ambience was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to just switch off and enjoy. Left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Would definitely go back 😊
