Came back for a root dye, and I'm again super happy with the colour, the blow-dry and the overall service. Best value for money, this salon exceeded my expectations from the first time I stepped foot in there, and again did not disappoint. I went for their April special: R480 for a root dye, moisturising treatment and blow-out. Honestly, where do you get all this for that price! And with stunning results on top of that! I used to pay R2000+ at my previous salons, and the colour didn't even stay as vibrant for that long, as it does with Jem. I'll defs be back again.

The salon is squeaky clean. Merilyn is so accommodating and helpful and did an awesome set today bringing together leopard with mauve, light pink and nude. Just wow 👌 see you in 2 weeks again dearest friend. ❤️

Unshaaf is such a gem. Sweet, gentle and makes every effort to ensure her clients are comfortable, warm (in this cold weather), and relaxed. Her gentle, yet thorough, approach during my 2.5 hours means I get to doze off. AND, I am never moaned at for my snoring (my husband says I snore. What a loser!). I have been using Unshaaf's services for years, and I highly recommend her. Her home-based salon is also quaint, neat, easy on the eye and VERY cozy. I love every minute I spend with her. You rock, beauty queen.

One thing about Beauty Collective is that their clients’ satisfaction comes first! Sarah has religiously always done my brows because she knows how I like them done however, this time she was not able to see me. I was left in the very capable hands of Mecayla who just started at the salon. She was super friendly and has ample experience. My treatments were amazing, especially the head massage during my dermaplaning. Sarah also checked in to make sure I was well taken care of because she knows how I am about my brows. I cannot wait to return when I’m back in Cape Town! Thank you xx

Every time I have stepped into the JEM space I have had service of EXCELLENCE - there are so many nuances that have been considered in how Ingrid and her team runs this business. I really don't mind the 40 minute drive it takes me to get there to have wonderful service, great hair and leave the salon to wolf whistles! Keep doing what you do - it works!

Going to this salon is a MUST!! The customer service we received were AMAZING. Only the best brands are used Gelish, Biosculpture, OPI and Nsi. My nails are perfectly shaped and my gel toes, the french line was painted so precisely and carefully. Merilyn takes her time to customize any nail art and designs. The salon is neat and hygienic. Tucked in a secure and quiet location. I can't wait for my next appointment!

Hair and Staff are great however your defective chairs are a problem. They cause pain to lower back and buttocks. As a customer it may deter me from wanting to come there knowing im going to have a painful experience. Visiting a salon I need comfort at least and it should be a pleasurable experience. The chairs are hurting your Customers. Thanks

I always have a great experience! Bernadette makes you feel comfortable, the music is such a vibe and I can fall asleep mid waxing! Everything is clean and sanitised and I am looking forward to my next appointment. Needless to say, my husband is happy with the results 🤭

Tracy is a lovely person who puts one at ease straight away. Her salon was clean, neat and welcoming. She gave good advice and explained everything in detail. I was very happy with my experience.

Beautiful little salon located a few roads from where I stay which is so convenient for me. Haley was my beauty therapist and did the most gentle wax I’ve ever experienced after years of not waxing. On this cold winters day the salon bed was equipped with an electric blanket which kept me toasty. I’ll definitely be back again!

Seriously THE best salon in Cape Town (other than 12 Apostles) IMO. I've always had the most amazing time and have always literally skipped back to my car in happiness with the service and results.

Very professional and patient with her clients, whether it's your first or 100th time waxing, Kauthar just has this way of making you feel calm and at ease.
