Manage team timesheets
In this guide, you'll learn how to track your team’s attendance and working hours with real-time timesheets, including breaks and shift updates, all in one place.
How timesheets work
Timesheets are automatically created when a team member clocks in for a shift using their account. As they clock in, take breaks, and clock out, all activity is recorded in real-time and added to their timesheet. These records are used to calculate wages and feed directly into pay runs.
You can view, filter, and edit timesheets as needed, making it easy to manage worked hours, missed breaks, and attendance across your team.
View timesheets
You’ll see a list of all timesheets, including those currently in progress and those already completed.

From the main menu on the left of your screen, go to Team.

In the left menu panel, select Timesheets to manage your team's worked hours.

At the top of the timesheet list, use the search bar or filters to quickly find specific entries based on team member, date, or status. For example Clocked in, On time, Late.

Click on a Timesheet entry to open and review the full timesheet.
On the timesheet view, you’ll see a full timeline of the team member’s shift, including the clock in and clock-out times, start and end times for breaks and the total paid hours worked. At the bottom of the timesheet, the total hours worked are clearly calculated. This data will be reflected automatically in pay runs and reports.
You can view a full history of changes made to a timesheet by opening the entry and clicking on Activity in the left panel. You’ll see a timestamped timeline of all actions, including clock-ins, edits, and adjustments.
Edit a timesheet

Open a Timesheet from your Timesheet list.

In the Timesheet view, click on Actions (three dots) in the top right and select Edit from the panel.

In the Edit timesheet view, update the following information for the team member:

Clock in time: Adjust the time and date that the team member started their shift.

Breaks: Adjust the start and end time or set a fixed duration for the break. Click Actions to delete the break or choose between setting a duration or specific end time. To add another break, click on Add break.

Clock out time: Adjust the time and date that the team member ended their shift.

Click on the Save button at the bottom to apply your changes.
The updated timesheet will be applied instantly and will reflect in your pay run and team reports.
Clock out of shifts and breaks on behalf of team members
If a team member forgets to clock out, you can do it for them.
- Open a Timesheet from your Timesheet list.
- In the Timesheet view, click on Clock out or End break in the top right to end the team members shift.
The shift or break will end, and the timesheet will be updated accordingly.
Delete timesheets

Open a Timesheet from your Timesheet list.

In the Timesheet view, click on Actions (three dots) in the top right and select Delete timesheet from the panel.

Click on Delete in the pop-up to to remove the timesheet.
FAQs
The timesheet will reflect their actual clock in and clock out times, even if these differ from their scheduled shift.
Yes, you can edit timesheets at any time. However, changes made after a pay run has been processed won’t update that past pay run. You’ll need to manually adjust it if required.
Yes, any edits to shift times or breaks will automatically update the associated pay run totals and appear in your payroll reports.
