With Fresha, rewarding your team with commissions
is straightforward. Commissions are automatically tracked,
so every time a team member makes a sale, their earnings are calculated and added to their pay. No manual tracking or spreadsheets needed.
In this lesson, I'll show you how Fresha it lets you set flexible commission rates for each team member in just a few clicks.
Start by heading to your team members and selecting a profile. Then select actions to edit their details. Under the pay section here, select commissions. Here you can choose which items you want the team member to earn commissions on. To start off, we'll go ahead and enable these for services. But you can do the same for products, memberships and gift cards to.
Now let's set up how the commission is earned under default commission type. You have two options. Fixed rates where you set a percentage or a flat amount per sale, or tiered rates, which increase based on how much a team member sells. We'll go with a fixed commission of 20% for services.
Need different commission rates for specific items? You can customize them at an item level. Just click edit under here. Adjust the rate per item or choose to exclude some. Once done, click apply to save. You can also set up commission options within a service directly from your services menu.
If your team members earn increasing commission based on sales thresholds, you can also set up tiered rates here. Tiered commission rates increase based on the team members total sales made within a sales period. For example, you can offer 20% for sales up to $100 and move up to 25%. When team members make sales over $100 and you can add as many tiers as needed.
With this set up, your team members earn more as they sell more, keeping them motivated. Once you're happy with your set up, just hit save. Commissions will now be tracked automatically and added to your team members' pay run. Remember to check out all appointments. This creates sales that counts towards your team's commissions.
