Got my first acrylic set removed by Shamima and she was fantastic. Truely took so much care into my nails and made sure that they were removed safely. I've had rushed and painful soak off experiences by other nail techs causing me to have sensitive and even painful nails for a few weeks. She even re-painted one of my nails after I accidentally smudged it. Poise and Polish is my new 'go-to' spot and I'm so happy I found them. Excellent service and staff who are so welcoming and warm.

Got my FIRST eyelash extensions for the first time on 09.02.2022 (I will NEVER forget this date as I was so excited, I arrived a week early 🤣 ) and what an absolute pleasure it was and still is to this day! I found a still find the process enjoyable and time flies by as we chat away. Yumna is a professional of note, so knowledgeable as well as being cognizant of the fact that I wear glasses and advised me on the length of the lashes I should consider. She explained everything she was doing as well as how best to maintain your new lashes (once you leave her care). Thank you Yumna ❤️

This was my second visit at Rua Beauty and I love my nails, she takes her time to insure your nails are beautiful and uses good hygiene with her services. She was also super helpful in terms of getting what I wanted by ordering the colours to do the style I wanted done (Brown cat eye) aswell as tips to soften feet callouses. She was also super accommodating by asking every so often if I’d like something to drink and even offered me a snack since I was hungry and the shops around us were closed 🤣 Overall an amazing experience with great chats and gossip. Would 1000% recommend coming to Rua😇

Wow! What a stunning salon. As soon as I walked in I was calm and felt ready to be pampered. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. My nail technician Amber was an absolute joy, she made me feel comfortable and taken care of. She also did such a beautiful job on my nails, taking the time to understand exactly what I wanted and I left so happy with my new set. She is truly a talented beautician. I asked Sethu to do a very cool colour on my nails. She painted them quickly and confidently and chatted to me in a way that had me leaving the nail salon feeling upbeat and ready to face the world! What a lovely person! Its rare to have such a great employee. I hope BOA values her. I also just want to remind you that the volume of the music was a bit loud. Your employees are quite young and probably have good hearing, but listening to music all day at that volume could cause hearing loss. Please be mindful of your employees' physical and mental health.

My treatment with Thina was great, my nails were tearing under the gel but she removed the gel, fixed all my nails and painted my natural nail so I could give my nails a break. My only negative feedback is that the choice of nail polish for natural nails was shocking, I could only find one colour I liked. Red is probably the most popular colour, there was not one red bottle to choose from. BOA needs to up their nail polish for natural nails.
