I was lucky enough to have the spa extreme ritual day, this was the best massage and facial I have ever had. The young lady who have me this experience was fantastic. The pool, and other amenities were great, the salt room especially. My Spar package also included a light lunch which I had a beautiful Yorkshire ham salad, and would highly recommend. You can even stay in your bathrobe to go and have lunch in the conservatory. I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this treatment but given 4 stars as I thought the Elemis Ocean body wrap I had last month was better. The products smelt nicer and my face felt lovely for 3 days afterwards whereas I couldn’t notice any difference with this one.

Loved my massage and facial but beds around the pool are very low, hard to get up from if you are past a certain age they could do with being higher off the floor

lovely from start to finish. i had a refresh and renew, ( a scrub and massage) by chloe and it was superb. i cant fault the team at all. if anything, it would be slightly high chlorine in the jacuzzi, as my eyes were a little stinging, but the sauna sorted that fast

Very relaxing treatment, well explained. Professional and friendly staff. The spa is also great; a couple of steam rooms, sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool. We walked over in our gowns to the hotel for lunch and coffee before we went back to the spa area for another round :).Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is one of my favourite places to go in York to relax and unwind. Lovely place in fantastic grounds and very attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Very good value for money (spa access, treatment and lunch), organised and staff friendly and helpful. Treatment with Lucy was excellent - very professional and kept to time, only feedback I would offer is the wrap / lotion did not really smell of ginger or orange. Overall a good day out and would visit again.

I had the anti aging wrap with Katie. She was friendly, yet professional. Talked me through the treatment step by step before starting. The room was amazing - tranquil ambience. This was one of the best treatments I have ever had - thank you Katie!!

Brilliant experience. Friendly staff. Excellent treatment with Lucy who gave one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Spa facilities are great with a variety of “rooms” - sauna, steam, salt air, aromatherapy, plus a large jacuzzi and pool. Will return!
