Desmond was excellent in articulating his ideas and skillset by explaining in details what he planned to do for me. The end result came perfectly as what he has shown me. I love my new hair style and will definitely come back to look for him. The only star left for improvement is the dressing table area @Dempsey may need improvement. I definitely don't like the "natural" wood finishing, it does look kinda cheap, which made me lack of confident when I stepped into the salon. The ambient @Tanglin branch at least feel a little classy. I absolutely love the extra massage after washing my hair.

I’ve been going to Jeoin since I moved to Singapore in 2023. I have very curly hair, and despite the fact that hers is naturally straight, she always cuts it like she’s a naturally curly-haired person. She listens to my wants, provides me her guidance and opinions, and then cuts away. I’ve always walked away a satisfied customer loving my new look. The salon is great and very centrally located in the Tanglin area. They offer scalp and shoulder massages and beverages, as part of their service. I would highly recommend Trimmings and Jeoin if you’re in need of a cut or new stylist.

Once again a great experience with Hiro! Appreciate the attention to detail and such a clean and swift service. Although did a colouring service, my hair still feels healthy and shiny. The hair wash service in itself is one of the best so far! So relaxing and with a great scalp massage too. Lastly, I really do appreciate that any additional cost is confirmed upfront before starting the service (have previously had bad experience in other sg salons where several hidden costs are revealed only at time of payment). Overall an extremely pleasant experience as always!

The stylists here are nice and acted politely, same as what I'm familiar with japanese-style service. Once I arrived, both stylists at the forntdesk near the door wore friendly smile and spoke English without strong local accent so that I can fully understood what they said and communicated without difficulties. Zackey, the stylist who cut my hair this evening at the salon, is a friendly and east-talking guy that made it comfortable and relaxed to get my hair cut. It's a good experience here in Halu.

Had my haircut and eyebrows trimmed by Daiki-san and I was very satisfied with the results! He also provided tips for styling and blowdrying my hair which were really helpful!Even though he is not fluent in English yet, I sincerely appreciate his effort for trying his best to communicate with me! Absolutely a great service from my most favourite hairstylist, Lana ❤️ Her hair colouring skills is really top-notch! Vanessa was great. She was very friendly and gave me some good tips to grow my hair. I gave less one star as it was awkward when I arrived and 2 ladies saw me but chose not to do anything. Until another lady (pink hair) smiled at me and asked one of the 2 ladies to serve me. It was my first visit and it would be great if the salon was more welcoming. In the service sector, the first point contact is always the most important.

As a traveler with curly hair, I really needed some help with the Singapore humidity! Booking an appointment online was super easy, and I was lucky to have Colin as my stylist. He was fantastic—so knowledgeable and skilled! He gave me an amazing haircut, blow dry, and styling. My hair designer Ms.Lois was incredibly professional and attentive — they really listened to what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The results were even better than I imagined! I’m so happy with how my hair turned out. The staff were also very friendly and supportive throughout the whole process. I was on my way to my pilates class this morning when I walked past this salon. Intrigued, I did some research on their socmed and was impressed enough to book an appointment I had a haircut and scalp treatment with Winnie, and it was a solid 10/10 She is incredibly professional , friendly, and pays great attention to detail She took the time to understand what I wanted and offered informative advice about both the cut and the scalp treatment The results are wonderful and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her! (I’ll definitely be returning)

It’s my first visit and I had a wonderful experience. The salon is well located near Chinatown. It is spacious, clean with a minimalist vibe. My hair stylist is Carmen. She’s warm, friendly and super attentive. She gave me great advice about my hair style and shared great tips on hair care. I reckon this is one of the best hair salons I have ever visited in Singapore. The staff has great attention to detail. I am extremely pleased with my haircut, colour and treatment. I have had Sherman as my hairdresser for quite a while now. He is incredibly skilled, quite friendly, and a great conversationalist. The prices he charges are reasonable and the salon is near and cosy. I look forward to our appointments every time.

This is my regular place to get a haircut and Johnny is my go-to. The main reason why I stayed consistent in this salon was because of how well he treated his customers. His customer service, advices, knowledge on hair-related matters were always top tier. He doesn’t just do it as a job but his passion can always be seen through his work. He doesn’t only does what we request him to do, but also gives his input on what might be better. Ensuring that every customer is comfortable is very important and Johnny never fails.
