Hair stylist May has fantastic technique in doing colouring for me today. She is skillful, experienced and professional. The bleaching and color were well controlled in time and color management. Personally, I regard the price is considered high among neighbourhood, what I paid is equal or more than the salon I visited in Orchard road.

Did my hair with Joey for the first time and she nailed the igari style haircut I wanted! Did my hair colour too and was recommended a colour that complements my skin tone & makeup style. Overall really impressed by all the stylists at this salon, I've done my hair with all of them and love it that I don't have to choose.

I had a great experience at the salon with Hiro as my stylist. He was very attentive, listened to what I wanted, and gave thoughtful suggestions that suited my style. A relaxing experience at the salon with stylist Chue and assistant Xiao Pei! They were friendly and skilled, leaving my hair feeling so soft and bouncy after the hair treatment. Thanks Chue for the well informed consultation that put my mind at ease to choose the most suitable treatment and Xiao Pei for the relaxing mini massage. Recommended for an effective treatment which isn’t too time consuming!

Desmond was excellent in articulating his ideas and skillset by explaining in details what he planned to do for me. The end result came perfectly as what he has shown me. I love my new hair style and will definitely come back to look for him. The only star left for improvement is the dressing table area @Dempsey may need improvement. I definitely don't like the "natural" wood finishing, it does look kinda cheap, which made me lack of confident when I stepped into the salon. The ambient @Tanglin branch at least feel a little classy. I absolutely love the extra massage after washing my hair.

Asako is a true artist with scissors! My experience at her salon was fantastic from start to finish. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered her expert advice, which I really appreciated. The haircut she gave me was exactly what I had envisioned, if not better. Prior to this, had a few not-great experiences with stylists and stopped going to salons since it was a waste of money. However, saw this salon’s ad on Insta and was sold by the marketing.. Took a leap of faith and went for a session. The salon has a cozy space and the people are very friendly. Nick was the assigned stylist and he was very professional. He explained many things and also took my concerns (e.g long n heavy hair) into considerations. Overall 10/10 experience! From a hair akin to bird nest, to really smooth and LIGHT hair. Level of detail is crazy! Very thankful :)

Nave was patient and competent and did a pretty good job with short hair and a challenging hairline at the nape of the neck that would stick out if cut too short. At a fraction of what I normally pay for a haircut, it’s pretty good value for a neighbourhood, heartland salon. Of course, there are no bells and whistles like fancy teas , head massages, etc but the premises were clean and it’s good for a quick cut. Haven’t yet tried other services though.

The experience i had at Flamingo Tiong Bahru woth Makoto was amazing! He was super thorough with explaining everything alongside his experience and opinions before starting. Till date, i have not had another experience as similar and amazing as the one i had here with Makoto. He had also helped fix a very bad experience at another salon where my hair and layers got messed up by someone else. I’m thankful that i have moved nearby, and is just over a 10 minute walk. Will definitely be back in the future!❤️ thank you so much to Flamingo and Makoto for my new hair❤️

I’m a regular customer & once again great experience at Hair by common studio (Queenstown). My go-to hairstylist Nave immediately noticed that my hair is oily & go the extra mile to wash my hair first before the haircut. My haircut turns out well as usual. Looking forward to my next appointment!

Best bleach & colour treatment I've had in Singapore! I needed a highlight & dark roots touch up and a trim. I decided to move from my previous salon due to the poor colour finish given last time and decided on Trimmings Orchard. Jeion was my appointed stylist and during the consult she listened to what I wanted, took steps to check with me and then summed up what she would do and she delivered exactly what I asked for brilliantly. Jeion is a skilled colourist and stylist. From consult, to colour, to hair wash & best head massage, through to cut & style - the end result is stunning.

Glad there is a new local hair and nail salon in Mount Sinai. Salon is clean and modern and more importantly the staff are fantastic. Hair service is great and they are excellent with nail care. Best manicure and pedicure I’ve had in a long time - the staff are not rushed so the quality is fab.

I came to Trimmings for a full head of highlights and a cut, Sean did a brilliant job on my hair, he gave me a lengthy consultation where he discussed different options with me, the foils were put in efficiently (I didn’t catch the name of the lad who assisted him but he gave me a wonderful head massage at the sink). My cut was exactly what I wanted and my hair was styled expertly, I was so happy with the result, I walked out of the salon feeling like a new woman, Thank you so much Sean and to your assistant, you were both absolutely fantastic, I will definitely return.

Thank you so much Simpson for everything you do ( hair cut, treatment, styling and even hair wash) you’re truly a talented stylist and always enjoy my appointments, very punctual and never keep me waiting.
