I found Matt online whilst surfing YouTube for tips on styling fine, medium length hair. I learned a lot and was surprised to find out he’s a local Vancouver Barber w/ 20+ years of experience as a hairstylist — exactly who I was looking for. Matt’s shop is located in Gastown and sitting in his chair I quickly realized how much knowledge and passion this man has for his craft. Unpretentious, incredibly educative and above all, talented — this guy clearly knows his sh!t. I’ve been in his chair twice in the past 2 months & the customer exp. & outcome gets better w/ each visit. Go see Matt.

Gary is the best barber in Vancouver. If you’re looking for a crispy fade this is the guy! I’ve been seeing him for two years and every cut has been 10/10.

Farhaan is hands down the best barber in Vancouver. His attention to detail is unreal and the consistency he delivers is on another level, every single cut is clean, sharp, and exactly how u ask for it. He actually listens, gives solid input when needed, and never rushes the process. Super professional, great energy, and u can tell he genuinely cares about his craft and his clients. I’ve never left disappointed and wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else. Highly recommend him to anyone who wants top tier results every time.

This is a 5.0 star review. My stylist was ANDY. I have had many bad experiences with hair cut services. I have necessitated only 2 visits to hospital emergency since living in Metro Vancouver. Both were the result of a bad experience at a salon or barber. I can't disclose the specific issues treated by compassionate doctors, but they were true emergencies that couldn't wait for a walk-in clinic the next day. To me it is thus necessary to protect myself against bad behaviour. Andy EXCEEDED expectations results wise and is the most attentive and respectful stylist I've ever met.

Martin is an artful stylist and a gifted conversationalist. I found the Lounge by searching for men's perms in Vancouver... Chickened out re: the perm, but thankfully not re: the studio! Should I ever get the confidence, this will surely be the place I go.

I received incredible service from Prép and a wonderful lash and brow tint from the lovely Marina — both were amazing as always! However, something in the salon has changed. For the first time in two years, no one offered me tea or water, and the receptionist didn’t seem very welcoming or attentive to the order of my appointments. I really hope the salon brings back pedicures — they truly have the most comfortable chairs in all of Vancouver!

I wanted a layered cut that’s trending in Korea, and Diane gave me exactly the style I was looking for. From the very beginning, she carefully checked in with me about the length and the shape throughout the cut, making sure everything was perfect. I was really impressed by how attentive she was to even the smallest details. On top of that, she explained how to manage and style my hair easily at home. I’ve finally found my go-to hairstylist in Vancouver! Next time, I’m definitely coming back for a balayage 😊 Highly recommend Diane!
