After bouncing from one salon to the next for a few years it feels really good to find a home at Tropics to get my retouch relaxers, cuts and colours done. Kayleigh has been amazing. She's so understanding and doesn’t take offence on any feedback I give. She is truly talented and always does what's best for my hair. She bastes my hair properly before relaxers so it doesn’t burn. The staff are also amazing, they get on really well and there's always great conversation and laughs. I always feel at home whenever I go. I would highly recommend Tropics.

First time attending the salon and I’ll definitely be back. My hair wasn’t in the best condition when I arrived, but the transformation in just one visit was incredible. Both ladies Shonagh/ Kayleigh were so professional, kind and genuinely funny. They consulted me every step of the way, gave advice on maintaining my hair at home, and discussed what we could do to support my hair journey. They even checked that I was comfortable with the amount being cut off before making any changes. I love my hair. The ladies are truly a dream and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I’ve booked this appointment like 12 hours before, and Kayleigh took such good care of me. She’s very knowledgeable in her hair, and the braids that she did on me were amazing. I’ve had nothing but compliments on how neat it is. I was in the area just for a few days. I needed my hair done as soon as possible, and let me just say I picked the best person to do it.
