Incredible. My hair is in such good condition since making the switch to Suede and my hair looks amazing! Better than it ever has!! Hairdressers that understand curls and have the best products that are animal cruelty free and great for the environment!!!

Merrilyn is the best hair dresser in Cairns. I have been going to Merrilyn since before 2015. Occasionally I branched out to try other hairdressers yet none can compare. The cuts I have had (short hair) always keeping growing into a suitable style until a return is necessary. Marilyn is definitely a professional which shows in all aspects of her business. Merrilyn salon is of an excellent standard. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with lots of laughing. A joy to visit. The costs for services are very reasonable and affordable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Macey is the best! She always nails my hair and I leave loving it every time. She’s so easy to chat to and makes the whole experience really enjoyable. All the girls at MLB are so lovely and welcoming too. Such a great vibe and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

DJ gets my colour right EVERYTIME! They are both polite and professional. Happy not to talk if you don’t want to and happy to engage if you do. I don’t really like talking too much when I get my hair done, it’s my time out to reflect. But over the 2hrs I found myself talking about family and renovations and we always have a really good laugh with both DJ and Nikki. DJ listens and does what I ask for. He’s honest and tells me if I don’t need a cut this time and this was not the first time I paid less than he quoted over the phone and that is always such a lovely surprise at the end!

I am absolutely thrilled to find DJ. After a botched haircut 2 weeks ago l got to the stage that l could not put up with my hair 1 more day. After reading 4 hours of reviews l crossed my fingers and decided to make an appointment with DJ at Suede. It was 1am in the morning when l went to make an appointment. I couldn't believe it when he had an appointment for 4pm that day. It was meant to be. DJ is certainly a professional and knows his stuff. I have now found my new hairdresser in Cairns. I would highly recommend DJ 👌

Camilla was an absolute dream to work with. The salon was welcoming and kind, and all of the staff were so wonderful and lovely. I was nervous about changing my hair, but Camilla and the team made the nerves wash away. In depth discussion before beginning the process, and reassuring and updating me as they went along for each step. Will definitely be back again! Thank you beautiful ladies so much!!

Absolutely loved my experience at Suede Hair in Cairns! I got a fresh cut and they did an amazing job refreshing my blonde hair after it had gone a little yellow from the sun & swimming during my holiday. The colour looks bright and healthy again. On top of that, I got to hold the most adorable, well-behaved dog while they cut my hair — honestly the best bonus ever 🐶💛 Everything was perfect from start to finish. Friendly, professional, and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful experience at Kaboo. From my initial 15 minute consultation to a 3.5 hour appointment later in the week, 100% happy with the team, the service and the outcome for my hair. Friendly staff who really listen, super clean salon with great products and reasonably priced for the work. Highly recommend.
