Ainur took SUCH great care of me today! I had never been to this salon, but decided to come since I saw great reviews online. I showed Ainur images of what I wanted (icy blonde underlights and a face framing highlight) and she was so open and happy to help me achieve this look! My natural hair color is about a 1B/2N. I also had box dyed the bottom half of my hair blonde. It was uneven and darker than I wanted. Ainur worked on my hair for 5 hours! Carefully checking the bleach and reapplying as needed. Once finished, both other clients at the salon complimented my hair! I couldn't be happier!

I had a great experience from the time I walked in the door. Literally the best my natural hair has ever been treated and I trusted the stylist Leena to cut my hair. She really went in and made sure every strand was attended to. Her hands are blessed lol. 10/10 I will be back. They make the salon experience worth it

I started my journey at Citryne Rose in 2020. I had been referred to her gifted hands years before but it took me a bit to get in her chair. I started out with a blow-dry from Leena (kind, sweet, skilled). My next appointment would be Dastine! I booked a curly cut style. I wavered on if I wanted to “cut my hair short”. I talked myself out of it, but Dastine hyped me up and boosted my confidence to commit to my original request. I can’t thank her enough! The short hair brought back that spark I needed! Fast forward to almost a year later! My hair is healthy yall! Thank you ladies so much!

I’ve wanted color for months, but I haven’t been able to find a natural hair salon that focused on healthy colorful hair. When my friend pointed me in the direction of Citryne Rose NY i was so excited to schedule my color consultation. Leena made me feel very comfortable in my appointment. Today was my first visit and it was a great experience from start to finish. I was promptly greeted and caped. They even had personalized name tags on them which was a nice touch. Everything was efficient and Leena handled my hair with care. I definitely recommend this salon!

This was my first time at a natural salon and my first time getting my hair professionally colored. Safe to say all of my old trust issues with salons are gone. Citryne Rose is a beautiful salon with a beautiful and warm team. The ladies provide great service (be sure to clear your schedule). I booked a double process color (ginger/copper) with bayalage for a sunkissed look. Julie SLAYED my color and cut, it’s absolutely beautiful. The space was really nice, the receptionist was very attentive and I was so happy with how my hair looked and felt when Julie was finished. My one complaint, after sitting under the dryer for my hydration treatment, I sat for an additional 15 minutes while Julie finished sewing in a weave for another stylist. I would have hoped that once I was finished under the dryer, she would have come back and finished me - a paying customer - instead of making me wait. I would want to make Citryne my new salon but my not because of that. Thank you!

I drove from Boston just for my hair appt. Julie was everything and more! i can genuinely say i've never felt more beautiful. From the moment i got in the chair, it was nothing but laughs and great convo. She was extremely professional, punctual and just overall amazing! I can't wait to come back and see her again.
