Got my first acrylic set removed by Shamima and she was fantastic. Truely took so much care into my nails and made sure that they were removed safely. I've had rushed and painful soak off experiences by other nail techs causing me to have sensitive and even painful nails for a few weeks. She even re-painted one of my nails after I accidentally smudged it. Poise and Polish is my new 'go-to' spot and I'm so happy I found them. Excellent service and staff who are so welcoming and warm.

This was my second visit at Rua Beauty and I love my nails, she takes her time to insure your nails are beautiful and uses good hygiene with her services. She was also super helpful in terms of getting what I wanted by ordering the colours to do the style I wanted done (Brown cat eye) aswell as tips to soften feet callouses. She was also super accommodating by asking every so often if I’d like something to drink and even offered me a snack since I was hungry and the shops around us were closed 🤣 Overall an amazing experience with great chats and gossip. Would 1000% recommend coming to Rua😇

Wow! What a stunning salon. As soon as I walked in I was calm and felt ready to be pampered. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. My nail technician Amber was an absolute joy, she made me feel comfortable and taken care of. She also did such a beautiful job on my nails, taking the time to understand exactly what I wanted and I left so happy with my new set. She is truly a talented beautician. my favourite nail tech thus far, she’s the full package. who doesn’t love a nail tech who’s good at her job, cares about meticulous execution & facilitates a good yap session ?! i did the cats eye this time and i honestly wish it was socially acceptable to walk around waving my nails in peoples faces all the time but alas i resort to incessantly asking people to “look at my nails 😁”

Got my FIRST eyelash extensions for the first time on 09.02.2022 (I will NEVER forget this date as I was so excited, I arrived a week early 🤣 ) and what an absolute pleasure it was and still is to this day! I found a still find the process enjoyable and time flies by as we chat away. Yumna is a professional of note, so knowledgeable as well as being cognizant of the fact that I wear glasses and advised me on the length of the lashes I should consider. She explained everything she was doing as well as how best to maintain your new lashes (once you leave her care). Thank you Yumna ❤️

I’ve never had a bad experience at Poise and Polish. My nail techs, Lindy and Linda, are honestly 10/10 — true professionals and easily the best in the business. I had my nails done on 27 May. During the appointment, I noticed the UV lamp was weak and mentioned to the nail technician that the set might not last, asking if the lamp could be changed. It was only replaced after I raised the concern. On 3 June, one nail broke. As I was taking my niece for her appointment on 5 June, I asked for a repair but was told I had to pay as it was beyond the 7-day policy. Then, on 7 June, two more nails on the same hand broke and I had to pay again for repairs. I'm very disappointed with the quality and durability of this set. And the fact that the 4th nail is about
