Having a combination of a head, body and face massage with Irina was just the most ideal reset and like no massage I’ve had before. I felt both energised and relaxed, and like time had stood still! Irina is so knowledgeable about the styles she uses and I felt safe, nourished and entirely at ease. I had a lovely massage thank you. It would have been nice if the cd player didn’t stop and start all the time. Also the aromatherapy aspect was not really evident in the massage oil. It seemed like plain carrier oil with little or no essential oil in it. When I’ve had aromatherapy massage before the therapist has chosen a blend specifically and explained the qualities. There was no residual lovely smell on my skin afterwards at all. That aspect was a little disappointing but the massage itself was very good.

Wonderful experience at my Spa Massage just outside York. Afer much online research, booked Deep Tissue Massage Treatments for Two (sister and self) at Shabby to Chic just outside York centre and were completely satisfied. Both Elise and Sarah were very professional taking pride in their work - both therapists took the time to listen as to which areas to concentrate on and the treatments were tailored accordingly. Wished we lived nearer, as were just in York for a couple of days - would like to go back on a regular basis to pursue a tailored treatment plan - can't speak highly enough!

The Indian head massage was so relaxing! Thank you much!

Great job at doing my hair. Visited several hairdressers in York to try and tone down the blond in my hair but not go two dark and they managed to get the colour just right. Good cut, reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Incredible Japanese head spa, such a relaxing environment from the offset with the heated bed and weighted blanket. My scalp has never felt so clean and healthy, and the mini facial and neck and shoulder massages were an amazing bonus!

I love visiting select. The staff are chilled and friendly. They don't mind who you go with for treatments as long as you're relaxed. They're highly trained & knowledgeable and happy to chat or be quiet if I'm zoned out. The facials and hot oil massages are gorgeous, but don't plan anything afterwards because you'll be so relaxed! They're brow experts. It's not easy finding people you trust who are consistently good. For electrolysis, they're the best in York, I tried 3 other places before finding Joanne. The location is easy to find and has free parking.

Neola was amazing. I had a beautiful facial followed by an Indian head massage. Great location and the atmosphere was lovely and calming. so relaxing I’m sure I nodded off in some parts. Thanks Neola I will be returning for sure!!!! 🥰

Wonderful experience having my first Ayurvedic massage with Irina. She very calmly and patiently explained the process and the philosophy of Ayurveda, and helped find the appropriate oil for my body. I will definitely be back and be recommending Irina to my friends in York and visitors.

My visits here are always a massive highlight for me. Lisa, Stacey and Alix were so welcoming. Always friendly and caring and creates such a relaxing environment. There is nowhere else in York like it! Alix took such time and care doing my nails and the art I had found. Fantastic job and love my nails. I've had a beastly cold and chronic sinus issues for a few weeks. I actually believe that Neola is a magician because my debilitating feeling of lethargy & constant head cold immediately disappeared. From head to toe… To experience the connection, the care and kindness every fibre every muscle and deep within, was my experience last week. Iryna’s hands consciously caring, and so thorough working her way generously offering this pause this surrender. She worked her magic from head to toe. The experience such an escape of intuitive kindness. So pleased to know these hands now and how beneficial. A reminder of the self love needed and how deeply it runs through feeling so rested so nourished and releasing any tension any tight with such gentle caring hands.

Amy was super. Had Indian head massage and lava shell massage. Both were amazing. Amy also advised me how to help with some chronic pain I suffer from.

Pernilla (sorry for the spelling) was incredible. I have had a lot of massages and I left this one walking on air, it was honestly the best massage I have had. I had a back, neck, shoulder and scalp massage I have never felt so relaxed. Perilla was professional and set me at ease right away. Thank you!
