Best Deep Tissue Massages near me in York

I was lucky enough to have the spa extreme ritual day, this was the best massage and facial I have ever had. The young lady who have me this experience was fantastic. The pool, and other amenities were great, the salt room especially. My Spar package also included a light lunch which I had a beautiful Yorkshire ham salad, and would highly recommend. You can even stay in your bathrobe to go and have lunch in the conservatory. I will definitely be returning.

Wonderful experience at my Spa Massage just outside York. Afer much online research, booked Deep Tissue Massage Treatments for Two (sister and self) at Shabby to Chic just outside York centre and were completely satisfied. Both Elise and Sarah were very professional taking pride in their work - both therapists took the time to listen as to which areas to concentrate on and the treatments were tailored accordingly. Wished we lived nearer, as were just in York for a couple of days - would like to go back on a regular basis to pursue a tailored treatment plan - can't speak highly enough!

My first ever deep tissue massage, and my first ever appointment with Elise. Absolutely amazing experience! She worked wonders on the many areas of tension, and despite some (expected) ouchy moments working out the deep knots, I left feeling so much better physically and definitely a lot more relaxed. Just wish I had the money to have a couple of these every week! Room is lovely and cosy, absolutely adore the electric under blanket!Definitely deserves the 5 stars x

The staff were friendly and professional and the full body deep tissue massage was fantastic. I enjoyed my treatment which is why I haven’t rated lower but there were a couple of things that could have made it an even better experience; telephone payment required in advance - it would have been better for payment to be taken via the app as it was difficult to get through on the phone. Also the massage I had booked had been changed in error, something I had spotted but was unable to get through on the phone which unfortunately meant I could not have the hot stone massage as planned.

Amazing! My husband had a deep tissue full body massage which he said was just what he needed. I had the facial & neck, back & shoulder massage it was out of this world! Definitely recommend . The young lady who did the treatments was lovely, very friendly & explained everything throughly . Thank you we’ll return next year again for our wedding anniversary x

Very relaxing treatment, well explained. Professional and friendly staff. The spa is also great; a couple of steam rooms, sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool. We walked over in our gowns to the hotel for lunch and coffee before we went back to the spa area for another round :).Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I’ve been going to Sophie for treatments for a while now and she is absolutely brilliant! Mostly been for deep tissue massages on my back, not for the faint-hearted but very effective. Sophie is professional, knowledgable, friendly and excellent at what she does. Had a lymphatic drainage massage today, which was also fabulous!

We enjoyed some time in the pool and facilities, but found it a bit too hot to fully relax, instead taking advantage of the September sunshine in the beer garden of the Fat Abbot! HOWEVER, we returned later for our scheduled treatments and were both given excellent care and attention. I enjoyed a Relax and Renew massage/facial with Lucy, and my OH had a Full Body Deep Tissue massage, which he reported as being thorough and beneficial. Staff at the Cloisters Spa were friendly, approachable and helpful. Hopefully we may return in the future, and definitely recommend a visit. Thank you.
