Best Tattooing & Piercing near me in Upper Mount Royal, Calgary

1st Street Tattoo is easily my favourite studio in Calgary. The vibe in the studio is awesome, and you can tell everyone genuinely loves what they do, and I love how much the artists support each other. They’re always hyping each other up and giving props for great work, which says a lot about the kind of people working there. I’d definitely recommend seeing Sean, but truly all the artists are the bomb. Don’t bother going anywhere else.

Definitely my favorite place to get a tattoo. Staff are hilarious, friendly and incredibly talented. Sean is an absolute beauty with a vibe and creativity that can't be matched. I'm beyond happy with my experiences and will be returning :)

Cris is amazing!! I love all the detail he put in to make sure everything was just right. This was my first big tattoo and it wasn’t even painful. I would recommend Cris and the shop 100% Can’t wait for my next one!

Jacob was a fantastic partner to go on my tattoo journey of covering up a 27 year old tattoo and reimagining it. Love the new tattoo! Thank you!!!

This must be the best tattoo shop period. I asked Josh to do an incredibly special and meaningful tattoo for me. It was my first tattoo. It’s a piece to remember my 15 year old son, Emilio, who tragically passed away in an avalanche over the winter. We talked to a few artists but ultimately landed on Josh based on the energy I felt both in him and his shop. He delivered a beautiful tattoo that I can’t stop looking at. He captured Emilio so perfectly. A true artist with a kind heart and wonderful soul. Thank you so much Josh!

Thank you Niche for powdering my brows and making it a great experience. I was a little apprehensive after a not so great ordeal occured with another artist. You were professional, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Enjoyed meeting you and can be confident to recommend your name to others. Many thanks
