1st Street Tattoo is easily my favourite studio in Calgary. The vibe in the studio is awesome, and you can tell everyone genuinely loves what they do, and I love how much the artists support each other. They’re always hyping each other up and giving props for great work, which says a lot about the kind of people working there. I’d definitely recommend seeing Sean, but truly all the artists are the bomb. Don’t bother going anywhere else.

This must be the best tattoo shop period. I asked Josh to do an incredibly special and meaningful tattoo for me. It was my first tattoo. It’s a piece to remember my 15 year old son, Emilio, who tragically passed away in an avalanche over the winter. We talked to a few artists but ultimately landed on Josh based on the energy I felt both in him and his shop. He delivered a beautiful tattoo that I can’t stop looking at. He captured Emilio so perfectly. A true artist with a kind heart and wonderful soul. Thank you so much Josh!
