All of the staff at North York Ink were kind, patient, and committed to their craft. I got a piercing from Taylor and a tattoo from Hettie. They were both there to give me advice and provide me with an experience that helped me feel comfortable and confident that I was going to leave with exactly what I wanted. Their creativity and knowledge of their respective crafts were very evident, and I had a wonderful experience. Will definitely be going back!

Taylor was really nice even though I was late and was super clear when explaining how to take care of my piercings and was super open to any questions I had. Abby (the tattoo artist, I think that was her name) was also really kind and let me sit with my friend who was getting tattooed. Would totally come back for my next piercings!

I had an incredible experience at vanity. My piercer (I'm sorry I didn't catch their name) was so calm, knowledgeable, and sensitive to my worries regarding a stubborn piercing I had gotten elsewhere. They listened and together we came up with the best plan of action for me and my body. The environment is clean and inviting as well as LGBTQ2IA+ friendly. It lacks the intimidating atmosphere I've experienced getting piercings in tattoo studios previously. I will definitely only be going to Vanity for piercings from here on out!

We booked our tattoos via email with Raven and she made it easy. We were travelling from BC to Winnipeg and wanted holiday tattoos. Upon meeting Raven, I wish we could have her do our tattoos always. My experience was great! I was greeted kindly. Offered a coffee, tea or water, some snacks... Alisha was amazing at helping me stay calm and breathe through some of the more spicy parts of my tattoo. It was a great experience and I will definitely go back for more of my tattoos and my pampering needs. At Boss Beauty they do almost everything! It's a 1 stop beauty shop. I have had such great experiences with Elevated Body Adornment. I've received a piercing and a tattoo and both experiences were so positive. Tops Studio Tattoo & Piercing isn’t just a shop, it’s a comedy club with art supplies. Spotless, welcoming, and full of staff who actually get your weird questions, they made my first tattoo a breeze. Denis, international wizard of ink, and sworn enemy of winter, took my vague idea and turned it into something so perfect I half expect strangers to ask for autographs. Hilarious, talented, and unforgettable, these folks make getting stabbed with needles feel like a joyride.

I've had bad experiences in the past with painful uneven eyebrow tattoos, too thick, close, dark and deep lefting me visible scarfs. I've spent a fortune trying to remove it unsuccessfully till I meet Sabrina. She was very empathetic. She sends me with Lee Gagnon (Laser Away Ink, Cambridge ON) to remove previous tattoos. After 5 laser session my forehead was clean for Sabrina to make a new, delicate, symmetric eyebrow. She is a perfectionist, detail-oriented artist, it is exactly what you need in someone making permanent tattoo in your face. Im very grateful for Sabrina advice, work & patience

Was super great the people there were kind and funny and the lady doing my piercing made me feel completely comfortable and understood that even though I have 5 tattoos, piercings still make me really nervous 😂 she was also super thorough about all of my concerns with aftercare and the fact that I had a previous piercing from a different place reject before !

Wonderful first tattoo experience! My mom and I got matching tattoos and we couldn’t have wished it to be any better.
