I had a wonderful experience at the salon with Nevila today! Ever since my favorite salon (Devachan) closed, I’d been searching (without much luck) for a place or stylist that came close to what I was used to. Until today. It was such a joy to finally find someone who truly understands and honors how to work with curly hair. I’ve found my new salon home and highly recommend Nevila and the entire team at Curl Divinity Salon! ❤️

Honestly Fabio was a lifesaver for my engagement shoot. The hotel water in NYC was not kind to my hair, and you could never tell with how Fabio styled and washed my hair! The blowout and style lasted for days, and his salon is so quick. Located in the UES, I'd make any excuse to go back here!

Trish is consistently one of the best colorists I've been to in NYC. She is brilliant with long, wavy hair for cuts, color, and blow-dries. The salon staff are welcoming and friendly. It's a 10 every time!

Caesar always gives me an excellent haircut, just walked into my apartment and a friend said "great haircut." Their salon is very pleasant, personal and has a great relaxed vibe. I always see other people looking great when they finish working on them as well.

I had an amazing experience here! I am a guy with curly hair, between an 2 and 3A, so I’ve had A LOT of bad haircuts. This is the best cut I’ve had in YEARS! Even when I ask for a diva cut, stylists always give me a generic men’s cut when I go short, so I never do. NOT Sandra! Even though I went with a shorter length (and had worn a hat all day), she took her time to cut my curls individually and made sure they all came through. I almost always walk out of the salon disappointed and put off getting a trim for as long as possible but today I am already looking forward to seeing her again!

I had a fantastic styling done by Ali (truly incredible), but he made comments that my hair didn’t need to be straightened and tried to persuade me to go against what I consider, as an African American in a hair salon, to be a finished look following a blow out. Again, he did an absolutely beautiful job, but the repeat comments (both during this appointment and my last appointment with him) made me feel like I wasn’t a valued customer and felt like he did not want to do my hair. Still very happy and very grateful, but that didn’t feel great.

I've followed Nevila to I think 4 different salon locations so far, she is my GIRL! Even after moving to Albany NY, I still make the drive down to get my hair cut by her. The salon is beautiful, the products and staff are outstanding. Life changing for a curly girl (or guy!) looking for the RIGHT style and cut. Highly recommend!!

Laiz was great! I've tried lots of salons but my search is over. She explained what my hair needed and walked me through a low maintenance 1 product routine that gave me the same curls as my 4 product hour-long routine did! Love my cut too!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this salon!! From the second you walk in you’re treated like family and made to feel so comfortable. I got my hair cut and colored by Ena and she was AMAZING!! She was so kind and thoughtful when doing my hair checking in with me along the way making sure I was good! I wasn’t totally sure the color I wanted and Ena worked with me to find the PERFECT natural look while still making sure It was noticeable! Silvana also helped with coloring and washing my hair, she was so kind and comforting along the way! Amazing experience I can’t wait to go back!

I had such an amazing experience with Dina at Bon Bon Salon! She completely understood what I wanted and made my hair look even better than I imagined. She’s so kind, talented, and really pays attention to detail. My hair feels so healthy and looks gorgeous — I’ve gotten so many compliments since! Honestamente yo fui a este salon porque conozco a mi Milady desde hace años y fue porque mi hermano me la recomendo porque ella era su peluquera y desde ahi ella es la ÚNICA persona que ha tocado mi cabello. Hace años me hizo el cambio de negro a rubio, y ahora, de rojo a unos hermosos highlights rubios. La verdad es que cada vez lo hace mejor. Es la única persona en la que confío al 100% con mi cabello. I almost never leave reviews but this is one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. I gave up a few years ago and starting cutting my hair myself (horrible idea) because of salons asking to pay for blow drying after a cut, the stylist getting lazy and only blow drying partially, just general rudeness/incompetence… Mary listened to what I wanted and didn’t cut any corners. I love my hair and had a great experience!
