This is probably one of the best salons out there. It’s a hidden gem I discovered. Micheal is great stylist and barber. He is friendly, takes his time and gives advice. I highly recommend Poiz Beauty Salon.

Always my favorite place to visit! Giulia Love Salon consistently transforms me into my best self with the care, attention, and love they provide. This is probably my 10th visit, and every time I experience the same joyous journey of letting my inner beauty shine on the outside. Honestly Fabio was a lifesaver for my engagement shoot. The hotel water in NYC was not kind to my hair, and you could never tell with how Fabio styled and washed my hair! The blowout and style lasted for days, and his salon is so quick. Located in the UES, I'd make any excuse to go back here!

I had an amazing experience here! I am a guy with curly hair, between an 2 and 3A, so I’ve had A LOT of bad haircuts. This is the best cut I’ve had in YEARS! Even when I ask for a diva cut, stylists always give me a generic men’s cut when I go short, so I never do. NOT Sandra! Even though I went with a shorter length (and had worn a hat all day), she took her time to cut my curls individually and made sure they all came through. I almost always walk out of the salon disappointed and put off getting a trim for as long as possible but today I am already looking forward to seeing her again!

I had a fantastic styling done by Ali (truly incredible), but he made comments that my hair didn’t need to be straightened and tried to persuade me to go against what I consider, as an African American in a hair salon, to be a finished look following a blow out. Again, he did an absolutely beautiful job, but the repeat comments (both during this appointment and my last appointment with him) made me feel like I wasn’t a valued customer and felt like he did not want to do my hair. Still very happy and very grateful, but that didn’t feel great.

Laiz was great! I've tried lots of salons but my search is over. She explained what my hair needed and walked me through a low maintenance 1 product routine that gave me the same curls as my 4 product hour-long routine did! Love my cut too!

I love visiting the salon of Topnotchbeautyintox. Despite it being freezing cold, it is very welcoming. i am always greeted with a smile and small gifts around the holidays. the salon is ALWAYS clean. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing waxing services, braiding, or other protective styles.

Im so happy I came here, they know their lashes! This is the place to come to for beauty, professional service, & healthy lashes. The last salon I went to was careless w/ my natural eyelashes & I knew I needed a change. Erica (lash tech) removed the old lashes gently & applied a new set (premium diamond set) that are so comfortable on my eyes & expertly applied. She was very meticulous and ensured none of my lashes were stuck together all the while creating perfect symmetry. She created a beautiful shape for me that fits my face nicely.
