I went into my appointment feeling blah and was *feeling myself* by the time I left. I can’t give Harix enough praise! He is SO talented and I could not be happier with my cut and color. He is equal parts artist and stylist, which is especially crucial when it comes to curly hair. He also has a wonderful vibe and I immediately felt at ease. This is by far the best hair service I’ve ever received. Harix is truly a curly hair expert and I’m so grateful to have found him! Roots Radicals is also a lovely salon. Everyone there was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I recommend it to everyone!

I have lost count how many years I’ve been going to Marianna but it’s at least five in her new studio so maybe 7??? Every time she knows exactly what to do for blonde~ especially because sometimes I just walk in and I’m like “do your thing” and it turns out great. She’s funny, explains hair process well, easy to talk to and if there’s a few people in the salon at once, everyone talks to each other, so I feel like I’ve definitely met some awesome peeps over the years. For someone who used to go back to Connecticut every time to get her hair done, so glad to have found her!!!

I’ve left curly hair salons before feeling like I can’t replicate it at home. Not here! Harix is incredible knowledgeable of curly hair and also understands the importance of his clients having a practical routine they can do at home. I left feeling beautiful with my haircut and confident that I can style it at home myself.

I am a first time customer at Balayage Me hair salon- it is a great experience being a customer there. I used my first Groupon promotion here- it was a smooth process. Ineesa and Johnny did an AMAZING job with the joint services provided- partial balayage, haircut, Olaplex (shampoo), toner, and blow dry. The salon owner David and staff are very patient, professional, and polite- they answered all the questions I had about the Groupon salon services visit. I highly recommend this hair salon. I am very grateful and very satisfied with the result.

11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

What can I say?! You don't mess with perfection. It's like your favorite restaurant! It's consistent and you always know what you're going to get. The best part is seeing Karen. She is simply the best! The gift that keeps on giving. . . . So many people stop me on the street to ask where I get my hair done. This salon is a "cut above the rest!"

I had a Brazilian Blow Out at Poiz today. Michael did a terrific job. My hair looks and feels like silk. The salon is neat and clean and provides a very friendly pleasant atmosphere.. I highly recommend Poiz for a Brazilian Blow out .

My experience at Toka was terrific. I began with Marina for a gel manicure and spa pedicure. Marina is excellent and pays attention to details. Then, I went to Ludovic. He is a master colorist. I love the color. The last service was with Yvette. Need I say more. She is the best hair stylist I’ve worked with. Her work is meticulous. She doesn’t let you leave her seat unless she is completely satisfied. I truly love being a client at the Toka salon. Oh, let me not forget the managers Sona and Grace. After following Eti on Instagram for more than a year, I knew she was the one I wanted to do my hair. I researched for months, but kept coming back to her work, and finally booked my session for a cut and full-balayage. My appointment was incredibly fast and efficient, considering how thick and long my hair is. Her salon is small and welcoming - not overwhelming at all.She expertly cut my hair, listened to every request I had on my color and length, and corrected a very outgrown color job from a year prior. Can't recommend her, or say enough good things about my experience at Eti Hair Studio!

We drove in from Connecticut because my 16-year-old daughter didn't want anyone but Marianna touching her hair. Her hair looks great, and no hair place is as fun as Marianna's salon. Marianna is bright, funny and builds meaningful relationships with her clients, and not just their hair.

It's been a great experience with V&C Image Hair Salon. I'm so satisfied with the hair color and highlight that Ms. Chona did to me. It was so beautiful!! 🥹❤️ I didn't expect the outcome, but she did a really great job!!! I do highly recommend V&C Image Hair Salon and Ms.Chona, she's really a pro.
