I had the best experience with Initial, specifically Ayala. She was super nice and sweet. I really loved the hair colour she did on me. I also learned a lot from her even though I have been dying my hair at other salons before. I wish she could stay in Vancouver so she can be my stylist forever haha.

The salon got renovated recently. It looks more modern and nice. It’s a pleasant place for a haircut. Fuko has been my hair stylist for years. She is always very passionate and friendly. She always takes her time to know what her customers really want. She is patient and is an awesome hairdresser. Highly recommended!

I’ve been wanting to have this specific haircut for years but never went to the salon because I’d get worried it wouldn’t be the exact same hairstyle so I only do it on my own. But, today I am so glad that I found Ken because he definitely knew the type of haircut I wanted without having to over-explain it. He’s super professional and talented! Very good service! I visited Mophead today for the first time & had the pleasure of having James as my stylist. I initially went in just for a trim, but he graciously accommodated my last-minute request for a color change as well. The results are absolutely beautiful—I truly feel like a whole new person! James is incredibly skilled & passionate about what he does. He took the time to teach me how to properly style my hair & recommended the right products to use. He even let me know I could message him anytime if I had questions or needed styling tips. I highly recommend James (hairbyjchen) & Mophead!

Got my haircut with Sam. You can tell that he really understands different hair types and how to cut your hair to the way you want. Obviously a very experienced hair stylist, and wont disappoint at all. If you want a great and consistent haircut, book with Sam👌.

Very pleasant and thorough shampooing process. Scalp massage was the best part. Hairdresser has good technique. He blew the little pieces of hair off my gown 3 times at least. When I left he saw hairs left on my tee shirt. He and the receptionist offered to roll those off with a lint stick. 1-hour of paid parking needed for a haircut as they do spend such time, on me at least. I did notice if I pay for parking using the **HangTag app** the price is $1.50 for an hour, but when I scan the QR code on the wall sign, the price quoted is $2.49 per hour.

I love visiting Initial Salon, its a lovely salon with exceptional stylist. The salon is always so peasceful, clean & a comfortable place to be. Everyone is so nice there. They are wheelchair accessible, and literally across the street frm the Brighouse skytrain station & across frm Richmond Centre mall.
