I had the best experience with Initial, specifically Ayala. She was super nice and sweet. I really loved the hair colour she did on me. I also learned a lot from her even though I have been dying my hair at other salons before. I wish she could stay in Vancouver so she can be my stylist forever haha.

I’ve been seeing Ken for a year now and he has helped me always achieve my colour and hair goals while also giving guidance on how to keep my hair healthy! Appointments always feel comfortable and relaxing and the newly designed space at Initial Salon elevates the entire experience. Eco is so so amazing it is my first time going to a Japanese hair salon and I was just mind blown at how healthy and pretty my hair looks after Eco cut my hair. She pays attention to your hair and give you great suggestions on how to improve your hair condition for example my hair is super dry however she recommend me I should use hair mask to give a healthy look. She is very gentle with your hair and gives the best cutting you want whether it is a photo you want her to recreate♡ If you want a hairstylist who have great sense of cut on long hair I highly recommend Eco!! I will be back soon !!
