Update your business opening hours
In this guide, you’ll learn how to manage the opening hours for each location in your workspace to reflect when they are operating.
How opening hours work
When you create a workspace on Fresha, you can add your opening hours during the initial setup. You can adjust these hours at any time for each of your business locations in your Workspace location settings or while publishing your online profile on Fresha’s marketplace. Once published, your opening hours will be visible on your profile.
Your business opening hours won't define when clients can book online. Instead, your team members' scheduled shifts determine your actual online availability. When you add a new team member, their default availability will match your business opening hours unless you set specific shifts in their schedule.
Update your opening hours

From the main menu on the left of your screen, go to Settings.

Click on the Business setup category and select Locations in the left menu panel to access your opening hours for each location.

Click on the Actions button next to a location and select View from the panel.

Scroll down to Opening hours, select Edit to update your opening hours.

In the opening hours view, tick the check box next to each day of the week and set the start and end time. Click on the Save button in the top-right to apply your updates.

Click on the Confirm button in the pop-up to finalize the changes.
- You can also tick the checkbox to update all your team members' scheduled shifts to align with your opening hours.

No, your online availability is determined by the shifts you schedule for your team members, rather than your opening hours.
Team members may start earlier or finish later than your opening hours to allow time for setup, cleaning, or closing tasks. If you want to keep bookings strictly within your opening hours, block out any extra time in the calendar using blocked time. It’s a simple way to stay in control of your availability while still giving your team the time they need.
If you select this option, all existing team members' shifts will be updated to match your new opening hours. This means their scheduled availability will change to start and end based on your updated business opening hours, starting the next day.
