Create your online profile
In this guide you'll learn how to set up your marketplace profile to attract new clients to book online and keep your regulars coming back.
Set up your marketplace profile
- From the main menu on the left of your screen, go to Online booking.
- Click on the Start now button to begin setting up your Marketplace profile.
- In the top right corner, click on the Continue button to proceed to the next step or alternatively, click on the Save and exit button to save your progress and complete it later.
- To create your marketplace profile, you will need to complete the following steps:
- Venue essentials:
Add your business display name as you would like clients to see it, add a business phone number and email for clients to get in touch with you. - Where is your business located:
Add your location address and adjust the map pin to accurately reflect your business location. Add an optional Getting there note with instructions for clients to follow (for example, “The access code to parking is 1234”). - Add your opening hours:
Click the times next to each weekday and use the dropdown menu to set your standard business opening hours. These will be displayed on your profile but do not affect your scheduled shifts. - Update venue images:
Before adding profile images, check out our Photography guidelines for tips on producing high-quality photos. Click on the Choose a file button to upload images of your location. You can add and replace any images at any time. Drag and drop each image to change the order of how they are displayed on your profile. - Make your profile stand out:
Click on each of the amenities, highlights or values that apply to your business, these will be featured on your profile for clients to see. - Tell us a bit about this venue:
Before adding a description for your business, check out our Content guidelines for tips on writing a high-quality overview. Your business description should highlight your services and what sets you apart. You can also click on the Enhance button to generate an AI-powered version based on your existing details. Click the Undo button to go back to your original.

- When you have completed all the steps, click on the Enable button to publish your Marketplace profile and become discoverable online through Fresha.
Once your Marketplace profile is listed, clients can view your profile and book appointments based on your real-time availability. Use the Link Builder tab to create a unique booking link you can share with clients, or add it to your website and social media to make online booking easy.

Yes, you can edit or unlist your profile anytime by clicking Options and selecting Unlist profile.
If your marketplace profile is offline, clients won’t be able to book through the Fresha marketplace, Reserve with Google, or any booking links.
If you haven’t unlisted your profile and are experiencing visibility issues, here are a few things to check:
Yes, you can save your progress at any time during your marketplace profile setup by selecting Save and Exit.
Once your online profile is published, you’ll need to have at least five appointments scheduled within the last 90 days to become discoverable in the Fresha marketplace.
It may take up to 24 hours after meeting the criteria for your profile to appear in search results. To help boost your visibility and improve your ranking:
When clients book online and pay upfront, their bank may require two-step verification (also known as 3D Secure) to confirm the payment. This process is managed by the client’s bank, not Fresha, and helps keep online transactions secure. Clients may need to approve the payment via their banking app, a text message, or a phone call. If they don’t complete this step, the payment will fail and the booking won’t go through.
No, clients can not book online through Fresha's marketplace without an email address. To book online through Fresha’s marketplace, clients need a Fresha account, which requires a valid email address. If a client doesn’t have a Fresha account, you can still book their appointment manually through your calendar using just their name and mobile number.
Online booking is available on all Fresha plans, including both the Independent and Team plans. You can accept unlimited online bookings regardless of which plan you're on through:
Keep in mind, there will be a one-time fee if a brand-new client discovers your business on the Fresha Marketplace and completes a booking. This Marketplace New Client Fee only applies to first-time bookings and is not charged again for returning clients.
