In this guide, you’ll learn how checking out appointments automatically marks them as completed, ensuring accurate data for reporting, marketing, and more.
Complete an appointment by checking out
Appointments are marked as Completed when they are checked out through the point of sale.
- Open the appointment.
- In the right panel of the appointment view, click the Pay now button to open the cart.
- Click the Continue to payment button at the bottom of the right panel.
- Select a payment method in the left panel and click the Pay Now button to process the transaction.
Once the payment is processed, the appointment will be marked as Completed in your Calendar, Appointment list, and the Client’s profile. A sale will be created, which you can share with the client via email or print. Based on your settings, a “thank you message” will be sent to your clients including the option to leave a review.
Once an appointment is marked as Completed, its status cannot be changed.
