In this lesson, I’ll walk you through some of the ways you can collect online payments, from saved cards to self-checkout and more!
With Fresha payments activated, you’ll see more payment options ready to use during checkout. Here are some of the options we’ll cover in this lesson, saved client cards, quick pay, client self checkout, and QR codes.
Clients can securely save their card details when booking online, allowing you to charge the same card with just one click.
Client cards are automatically saved to their Fresha profile whenever they pay using a range of available payment options. The card details are securely stored, so you can charge the same card easily next time.
Let’s take a look at using it with Quick pay. It’s fast and secure, making it the ultimate time-saver for hassle-free transactions!
When a client has a saved card on file, you’ll see the Pay now button right on their appointment. Just one click charges the card and checks out everything instantly. And like magic, you’ll bypass standard checkout steps, taking payments in seconds.
You can always choose to checkout as normal. When you reach the payment step, you’ll notice more options including the client’s saved card here. And when you’re ready to finish, just select the client’s card, followed by pay now.
You can handle everything right here while the client’s still in the chair, no extra steps or effort needed.
Now, let’s go back to the payment screen and take a look at some of the other payment options available.
Here, you can show clients a scannable QR code, or send them a link so they can pay through their phones with self checkout. These options are a great way to collect payments straight from clients’ phones without needing any additional devices.
Here’s how self checkout works. Enter the client’s mobile number and hit send. The client will instantly receive a secure payment link via text.
Now let’s take a look from the client’s perspective. Once they open the link, they’ll see their total along with easy payment options like Apple Pay or entering card details. Clients can even add a tip and complete the checkout, all in a few taps.
Once the payment is made, the checkout automatically completes on your end, confirming everything is done.
