She was great. I will definitely return. My hair was in bad shape after braids and she gave me a nice cut and style that I'm comfortable with. Extremely patient. I didn't really know what I wanted, but she gave me the perfect style that looks good on me.

I had the most amazing experience with Candyce at Jamal Amal Hair Salon! In which from the moment I walked in, she made me feel so welcomed and at ease. She truly understands hair and took the time to listen to what I wanted, offering expert advice along the way. The end result was beyond my expectations. I recently visited Jamal Amal Salon to get my hair braided, and I had such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and polite, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. BLK had a Terrific experience. I was referred to my prior hair stylists. They both independently referred me to the same person. Jamal, and his assistant, did a great job with my hair. I can tell a person's professionalism by my experience in his environment and surrounding staff as well. Jamal was great and so was his assistant - I literally, did not lose any hair strands. None. Amazing. The hair wash was so relaxing....they worked my scalp well. The environment was wonderful. I am growing my nails back just so that I can be pampered more while getting my hair done by Jamal and his team.

I have been coming to see Bri since I moved to Jersey in May and I have 0 regrets!! She gives the best blowouts and recently she recommended a glaze to me. Before deciding, she educated my on the different types of glazes, tones, the benefits, & upkeep. Let me tell you… BEST DECISION EVER. It gave me the effects of a deep conditioner while making my hair look so much shinier and healthier. The best part is, it’s not nearly as expensive as hair dye.
