1st Street Tattoo is easily my favourite studio in Calgary. The vibe in the studio is awesome, and you can tell everyone genuinely loves what they do, and I love how much the artists support each other. They’re always hyping each other up and giving props for great work, which says a lot about the kind of people working there. I’d definitely recommend seeing Sean, but truly all the artists are the bomb. Don’t bother going anywhere else.

Honestly, a great experience from the moment I stepped in the door as a walk-in to a week later when I was getting tattooed. Sean is the tits when it comes to artists - super friendly, welcoming, informative, creative, and that hair!!! I would highly recommend Sean and 1st Street Tattoo! Go now!

This must be the best tattoo shop period. I asked Josh to do an incredibly special and meaningful tattoo for me. It was my first tattoo. It’s a piece to remember my 15 year old son, Emilio, who tragically passed away in an avalanche over the winter. We talked to a few artists but ultimately landed on Josh based on the energy I felt both in him and his shop. He delivered a beautiful tattoo that I can’t stop looking at. He captured Emilio so perfectly. A true artist with a kind heart and wonderful soul. Thank you so much Josh!
