I have never experienced such a professional and passionate worker. She really cared and I am so happy with my wax. I had a Hollywod and full legs and I will come back every time. In 18 years in Plymouth no one other before made me leave happy, pain free and satisfied with the final result. No patches! The lady will grab the tweezers and pluck out anything that is left, she is so easy to talk to and not one moment of embarrassment! And is not expansive at all!

First time at Vaughans Hair and Beauty and I can honestly say what a treat. My beard had gone full wildebeest but Anna worked her magic and transformed me into something resembling a well groomed supermodel. Or at least someone who no longer frightens children! The whole experience was incredibly relaxing and one of the calmest trims I’ve had in ages. The salon has such a peaceful vibe and the view of Plymouth Sound and Drakes Island was genuinely stunning. Huge thanks to Anna for the care the chat and the craft. I’ll definitely be back.

Anna is a wonderful hairdresser and colourist. I live in London and I now book my hair cuts and highlights in with her when I am in Plymouth. She cut my nine year old’s hair today and she was so kind and takes such care in her work - my daughter loves the cut!!

Nadia was wonderful! She made me feel welcome and relaxed as soon as I entered the salon. The waxing was quick but thorough, and she kept checking I was ok during the whole treatment. I would highly recommend and I think I've found my new wax lady 🙂

I’ve had a back injury for around 8 years now and have the odd flare-up. This time I’ve done it good and proper (probably the worst since initial injury) and managed to get last min appt with Gabriela. I cannot recommend Nadia enough! My usual lady is on maternity, and I was recommended Nadia through the lady herself :). I had a lash lift and tint and my lashes look so full, lifted, and naturally stunning. The results were immediate - no need for mascara at all! The whole experience was professional from start to finish. Nadia made me feel comfortable, explained every step of the process, and had such a gentle, professional touch. The space was clean, calming, and truly relaxing. 10/10.

Pretty, girly salon. I came in for a “mummy and daughter” pedi. The staff and owner are always so welcoming. Always making it extra for my little girl (4) with glitter, lemonade in a champagne flute and candy floss. The owner is amazing with children. My little girl always feels like a princess after and loves to show off her toes. Can’t recommend it enough!

Excellent massage and reflexology mentioned to Viv that I had injured my left leg muscle, I was struggling with steps, she massaged my legs as well and next day they felt so much better and steps no longer a problem. Highly recommend.

Im so pleased that I found Emma! I visit her for waxing and massage, she is very good at what she does. As a trans male I have in the past not felt welcomed or comfortable in other salons. Emma is warm and friendly and has a lovely, welcoming space. Highly recommend!!
