11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

My experience with Bren at TheBar Skincare always exceeds my expectations, not only is the facial relaxing but the time spent with Bren is better than having a therapist. Bren is always open accepting and provides a safe space for me. She is extremely knowledgeable and truly knows my skin after all these years. It is great for chronic pain. Acupuncture, physical therapy, massage and cupping all helps but I think pain relief is more with acupuncture and massage and physical therapy helps increasing strength and flexibility. Had such an amazing mg experience with Liliya today! This was my first facial, she walks you through every step and truly gives her best opinion on skincare treatments for your skin type. For a salon on fifth Avenue her prices are unbeatable and she has such a clean and welcoming space. She is also so sweet, professional and honest. I will definitely be coming back for more facials with her! 10/10 recommend!
