I was lucky enough to have the spa extreme ritual day, this was the best massage and facial I have ever had. The young lady who have me this experience was fantastic. The pool, and other amenities were great, the salt room especially. My Spar package also included a light lunch which I had a beautiful Yorkshire ham salad, and would highly recommend. You can even stay in your bathrobe to go and have lunch in the conservatory. I will definitely be returning.

Possibly one of the best massages I have ever had walked away after a 90 minute hot stone massage and felt so relaxed. Will be booking again and would highly recommend

Having a combination of a head, body and face massage with Irina was just the most ideal reset and like no massage I’ve had before. I felt both energised and relaxed, and like time had stood still! Irina is so knowledgeable about the styles she uses and I felt safe, nourished and entirely at ease. Started massages to help with circulation in my lower legs and feet and it really has been a great help. My wife has also had a Back Neck and Shoulder massage which she really enjoyed and lookingforward to her next one. Nikita also takes great care within Covid restrictions. Would throughly recommend Nikita for either a relaxing treat or more targeted therapeutic massage.

Wonderful experience at my Spa Massage just outside York. Afer much online research, booked Deep Tissue Massage Treatments for Two (sister and self) at Shabby to Chic just outside York centre and were completely satisfied. Both Elise and Sarah were very professional taking pride in their work - both therapists took the time to listen as to which areas to concentrate on and the treatments were tailored accordingly. Wished we lived nearer, as were just in York for a couple of days - would like to go back on a regular basis to pursue a tailored treatment plan - can't speak highly enough!

My visits here are always a massive highlight for me. Lisa, Stacey and Alix were so welcoming. Always friendly and caring and creates such a relaxing environment. There is nowhere else in York like it! Alix took such time and care doing my nails and the art I had found. Fantastic job and love my nails. Ruth was fantastic! She came to our hen party house we had hired for the weekend and provided treatments for 7 of us. The contact via email beforehand was great, she arrived on time and provided us with the most amazing massages and facials. Lots of comments amongst us like "it was the best massage I've had" "I feel so relaxed after that" "that was amazing" "Ruth was so strong!". Ruth herself was lovely - chatty to start with then respected the relaxation during our treatments. Highly, highly recommend! Thanks so much Ruth!

I had a 60 minute Swedish massage from Dean which was excellent. He was friendly and professional, checking in to see how the pressure was. He has quite the collection of essential oils to choose from depending on whether you want to be relaxed or energised. I came away fully relaxed . Great value for money!

Highly recommend. I had a great experience with my sports massage from Erik. As a woman, I felt completely comfortable and respected throughout. Erik was professional, checked in on pressure, and helped release a lot of tension as well as suggested at home exercises to improve problematic areas. I left feeling relaxed, looser, and would definitely recommend.

Wonderful experience having my first Ayurvedic massage with Irina. She very calmly and patiently explained the process and the philosophy of Ayurveda, and helped find the appropriate oil for my body. I will definitely be back and be recommending Irina to my friends in York and visitors.

The most amazing pregnancy massage I’ve had!! 😍 Nikita was so professional, we talked through all my problem areas first and she really tailored the massage to me! And it was INCREDIBLE!! I booked a 45 minute Swedish massage with Amy, and I requested firm pressure. This massage was better than the usual sports massages I get. I will be certain to book in here again during my next visit to York.

Neola did a lymphatic drainage massage for me and it was excellent. Everything was clearly explained and the setting was super relaxing. My legs feel brand new!

I love visiting select. The staff are chilled and friendly. They don't mind who you go with for treatments as long as you're relaxed. They're highly trained & knowledgeable and happy to chat or be quiet if I'm zoned out. The facials and hot oil massages are gorgeous, but don't plan anything afterwards because you'll be so relaxed! They're brow experts. It's not easy finding people you trust who are consistently good. For electrolysis, they're the best in York, I tried 3 other places before finding Joanne. The location is easy to find and has free parking.
