I love visiting select. The staff are chilled and friendly. They don't mind who you go with for treatments as long as you're relaxed. They're highly trained & knowledgeable and happy to chat or be quiet if I'm zoned out. The facials and hot oil massages are gorgeous, but don't plan anything afterwards because you'll be so relaxed! They're brow experts. It's not easy finding people you trust who are consistently good. For electrolysis, they're the best in York, I tried 3 other places before finding Joanne. The location is easy to find and has free parking.

Always the best, Kaye listens to what you want and what design, she even shares her ideas to make your nails even more fabulous, Kaye will always make sure you leave with a smile on your face and triple checks you’re happy with the nails (Length,Colour and Design) i 100% recommend visiting Emerald Beauty! She will be your nail tech for life as well as a friend!

I had a lovely session with Lauren this afternoon in her beautiful salon. Had eyebrow tint and wax with a bit of added Botox. I also had a very relaxing Dermaplane. I would highly recommend Lauren she is so professional and very friendly.

As guaranteed, a thoroughly professional and relaxing experience. Always friendly with that personal touch. Would highly recommend. (Nails/toenails gel, eyebrow tint and neck and back massage).

Kate is professional, kind and an exceptionally skilled nail artist. She even helped me to choose a colour that would suit me (am very indecisive) .The salon is a warm welcoming atmosphere, strongly recommend .

Lynne is always welcoming and her salon is smart and has a luxurious feel. She discussed what I wanted and had the time to explain what she was doing. I'm delighted with the way she shapes my eyebrows and the tinted eyebrow treatment I has today looks good. I'm really pleased with the way Lynne has enhanced my brows by the waxing and tinting. Fantastic facial today along with LED light facial, eye brow tint and wax. Lauren was very tentative and thorough on explaining with detail what she was doing and what products she was using on my face. I felt relaxed and at ease through out the whole treatment. My face has never felt better! She was amazing and it was extremely relaxing and enjoyable! I highly recommend!

Char is THE best at hair extensions in York by a mile. The blend is outrageous, colour match is spot on, she just knows exactly how to make it look so natural. She’s also the best therapist whilst working! The easiest person to talk to, goes above & beyond to accommodate you with every appointment. Just always a pleasure. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
