Came in before the great north run as I was feeling a bit of pain in my knee and was unsure of the cause. Had a great chat at the start of the session about my training and understanding was may be causing the pain. Andrew was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the session helping me to understand and treat the pain. He also gave me some helpful exercises to do on my own to help me with injury prevention and strengthening up muscles

This was my first time getting a sports massage, targeting my hip flexors and quads, after experiencing tightness at the back end of my training block. Andrew was fantastic, walked me through each step as the session progressed. We began diagnosing the issue followed by deep tissue massage and then came up with some mobility exercises to help this going forward. Fantastic service from start to finish, won’t be the last time I will be using The Recovery Clinic!

I had a sports massage after the GNR and Andrew was excellent. We had a consultation before we started to target the areas that needed the most attention. He’s very knowledgeable within this field and I’d 100% recommend Andrew.

Visited Recovery Clinic this week for my first sports massage in years - I’d definitely been neglecting the recovery my body needs between big training sessions. After the Great North Run I’d noticed a slight lower back sensitivity, and Andrew did a brilliant job of working through this along with tightness in my legs and hips. The massage was firm but effective, and Andrew talked me through everything as he went. We even finished up with some mobility work I can continue to build on going forward. Left feeling so much better – will definitely be back!

A superb experience with Andrew. After a short consultation he worked hard to address the problems I was facing post marathon. He spent time explaining what he was doing and why he was doing it throughout and made sure to check in regularly on the intensity of his treatment. I’ll be back!
