I’ve been getting my eyebrows done by Rachael for years and couldn’t recommend her more! I moved abroad a couple of years ago and refuse to find a new brow bar! I make sure to book an appointment whenever I’m home in Edinburgh.

After 3 years of living in Edinburgh and trying different places I am so glad I found VelvetBrows! I always used to end up with thin eyebrows after threading which I always told any beautician I don’t want before starting, however Zivile really listens and she’s done a tremendous job in shaping my eyebrows (threading only) without thinning them. She is very professional and very passionate about what she does, I would strongly recommend Velvet Brows! Now I need to look no further as I’ll always come back here

After 15 years living in Edinburgh I finally found a place where I can truly take care of my skin and body. I always feel welcomed here—the beauticians are kind, attentive, and highly professional. Weronika, the owner, is amazing: skilled, knowledgeable, and honestly a total badass 😎❤️. This time I had waxing, eyebrow shaping, and a vacuum massage. Everything was done with top-level professionalism, and I even received a little Christmas gift, which was such a lovely surprise. I highly recommend this place. Merry Christmas! 🎁🎄

I have been coming to see Denise regularly for the last couple of years (brows +Brazilian) and cannot recommend her more. She makes you feel comfortable, is aware of your skin type and the premises is spotless. I'm moving away from edinburgh and finding someone with the same standards is going to be a tall order!

Incredible! Magda is very talented and is the best nail technician I have been to in Edinburgh! Her design work is detailed and gorgeous. She is also very friendly and we have great conversation. Best salon in Edinburgh. I've had appointments here with Evgeniy for manicure, Maryna for pedicure and Lesya for a haircut. I literally could not praise them enough. All of the staff here are lovely and highly professional. The prices are very good and competitive to other places in town. What makes this place stand out is the incredible attention to detail. I have been to Shaz a few times now for eyebrow/eyelash tints, eyebrows, lip, chin threading. She is great at what she does and puts you at ease. Always very relaxing. People always comment how lovely eyebrows/lashes look afterwards. Would definitely recommend

I go to Lisa for nails, toes, waxing, tinting and occasionally a facial and massage. Lisa's beautiful salon space has the atmosphere of an upscale spa such as Archerfield and is impeccably decorated with soothing colour schemes. Lisa herself is so warm and friendly and gives you a truly welcoming but professional experience. I really look forward to my treatments with Lisa, as its not only "me time" as a busy full-time working mum but also to catch up with lovely Lisa and have a laugh.

Darci did my eyebrow wax and tint was very professional and explained everything she was doing to fix what I had done somewhere else. She did a great job and will be back to see her again soon
