After not having my hair done for a while I was a bit nervous going in today, however within minutes of sitting down I was made to feel at ease by Abby. She was very knowledgeable and honest when talking about what would suit my hair type best, as well as giving me helpful tips on how to recreate the style at home. I will 100% be back for my hair, and will soon be trying out the beauty treatments too!

My daughter just had her hair styled by Nisa at the salon, and the experience was wonderful. Nisa was amazing, so knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. She made the entire curl experience really enjoyable for my daughter and took great care to explain what she was doing. We’re so happy to have found a salon in Derby that truly knows how to style all hair types, making them a cut above the rest. We’re extremely pleased and will definitely be back/ highly recommending them to friends.

So today was our second appt with Zoë, and I have to say..previous to using Erika’s Salon, my son would become quite anxious about having a hair appt, it would be an emotional mission to even get him in the car! But the way Zoë interacted with Edward on his first appt meant the second one was an absolute breeze!! I have had no pre-appointment anxiety or emotions, he was happy enough to come today, and I am so pleased that we seem to have found our ‘forever Salon’ when it comes to getting Edward’s hair cut. Hair Stylist, Abby, was brilliant with my daughter, Evie. This was her first hair cut at Erika’s Salon and Abby took the time to ask what she usually does with her hair for school & dance then explained how layers would look in her hair etc. Once decided, Abby washed, cut and dried Evie’s hair, ensured the length was how she wanted it, chatted with Evie throughout the appointment and gave her tips on curling and styling, which as a young girl, Evie was very to receive. Happy New Year, Abby! We will see you again in 2026!
