RUBBER GEL!! I first became obsessed with this type of polish when I lived in Whistler. Being super hard on my hands, with lots of washing, I found normal gel would not last very long.. until I discovered rubber gel! When I moved to North Vancouver, I couldn’t find it anywhere and one day stumbled across Laque nail bar. So happy that they carry this product, and other types too that are better for you and non-toxic! The ladies here are always to lovely, their services, prices and care are unmatched. Complimentary tea and chocolate, beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend!

I received incredible service from Prép and a wonderful lash and brow tint from the lovely Marina — both were amazing as always! However, something in the salon has changed. For the first time in two years, no one offered me tea or water, and the receptionist didn’t seem very welcoming or attentive to the order of my appointments. I really hope the salon brings back pedicures — they truly have the most comfortable chairs in all of Vancouver!

Today I had a manicure course with Elena, the manager of Euro Nails in Vancouver, and I’m truly so happy and satisfied with the experience. Elena was incredibly patient and supportive — she spent so much time with me and explained everything in detail, step by step, until the end of the class. Elena and her husband were very kind and supportive. Taking this course was definitely one of the best choices I’ve made for my career, and I feel lucky to have learned from such a professional and kind person. This is by far the best waxing experience I’ve had in a long time! Having moved to Vancouver from Western Australia in March, I’ve been really nervous about finding a new salon to go to as I’ve had MANY bad experiences in the past. Sam COMPLETELY changed that for me. She was amazing. SO quick and I have absolutely zero complaints. Left with an eyebrow massage and a free chai tea! (I got home about 10 minutes ago so that’s how happy I am with the service!) Even the warm welcome at reception was amazing! Thanks SO much! I was nervous going in because I just recently moved to Vancouver; I've only trusted a few select people with my eyebrows but seeing all the wonderful reviews, I decided to take the plunge and book with Sam. It was my first time doing eyebrow threading and it's so much better than waxing! Sam was fantastic, she was very gentle, I got a little massage after, and my eyebrows look amazing! Polina is very good at what she does and I am very happy with my brow lamination. She was very thorough and very good at shaping my eyebrows after the lamination (highly recommend booking the waxing in addition to the lamination). This was my first lamination and I will definitely go back.

Beautiful work and also very quick! The salon is such a calming environment. I will definitely be back.
