Mary is beyond amazing. You can tell she takes her craft very seriously. She is methodical and detailed in the process and also very personable and friendly. Recently I had an application of brow tint that just didn’t quite take, no fault of the actual application but just a fluke. Mary made sure to bring me back in to address the areas I was concerned about and even made sure to take extra steps to avoid damage to my brows with the second rendition of coloring. As long as she is still open in Kalamazoo Portage area I will be faithful customer and recommending her to all my friends .

Alissa is truly an artist!! I had a brow lamination, tint and shape service, and had areas in my brows that don’t grow hair. She filled in those areas so well and very natural looking. My brows look AMAZING!!!

I had the best experience with Alissa and everyone from her staff. From the start she was very informative and walked me thru the whole process. She mapped out my brow placement and made sure they were perfect and I was happy with the shape before starting. She continued to measure during the process and had a very high attention to details that I appreciated. She took her time and in the end my brows look amazing!! I would hands down recommend House of Ember to anyone and everyone. If you’ve been on the fence about getting your brows done, DO IT. You won’t regret it.

10 out of 10!!! I was so nervous in the beginning but Mary worked her magic and had her work cut out for her. I had not had my brows done in over a year due to bad experiences. But Mary heard my concerns and is so detailed explaining everything. She made me feel so comfortable and secure with the process. Definitely recommend 100% and she will forever be my brow person. I love the environment in the salon and the girls are all great! I’ve worn extensions for the majority of my adult life and when I switched to their butterfly wefts they informed me of all the benefits of the different varieties they offer and how it would work best for my hair. It’s very affordable as well but you certainly are not sacrificing any quality. Everyone is always personable and the playlists are forever great, me and Sidney spend most of the appointments just humming to the music and yapping. 10/10 recommend this salon!

My 4th location/person to do my lashes and so far she's the best! She does a GREAT job with LONG LASTING results! Not a single complaint! She's also a great "therapist" (listener) when a mother finally has an hour without her kids! Couldn't ask for a better hour "mom break!!" I actually had booked my next 3-4 appointments for every 6 weeks that evening after my first appointment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for overall last lifting and tinting!

Great experience! I had a facial done for the first time and also had my eyebrows waxed by Macy. My face has never felt so taken care of, and my eyebrows have never looked so good. I even had to get on a plane right after, and after four hours of flying my skin still felt amazing. Macy is extremely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what she does. I’m excited to see her again and add The only small bit of feedback I’d share overall is that robe sizing could be more inclusive for plus size folks, as mine didn’t fit. Overall, I highly recommend!
