I was happy with the results, but docking a star because some nails had to be redone due to dents or unevenness on the white tips or missed spots that I pointed out. Still tipped 20%. I was a little surprised because they usually really double check every angle. I already noticed chipping on 1 nail after 2 days then after 5 days another nail began chipping. After a few days the thumb texture looked bumpy with bubbles. Also, another customer next to me that day was really upset because her artist did the wrong nails when it $200. It appears some quality issue is going on.

She introduced me to gel overlay, which gives a beautiful gel finish without thinning the nail, so they stay healthy and strong. She’s incredibly detail-oriented and kind, and she takes her time with every step of the process, from removal to shaping to painting. My nails always come out beautiful. First time coming here. Staff are Nice. Mani-Pedi was very good. I love how clean looking my nails are. I opted for just manicure no polish. I’ve never seen My cuticle cleaned that way and it amazed me. Very thorough and detailed. Thank you for a wonderful service. My pedicure was the same. I love how she showed me two shades of the color I want and painted it on my toes first so I can make a choice. That was very thoughtful. Gel nail polish was so cute and she painted my toes really good. This will be my new fave spot for pamper days.

McKenzie was amazing. I’m super picky about my nails. She’s the first I’ve liked in a long time! She made sure I found the exact shade I wanted. She put five different colors on me to see how I liked them based off the picture I showed her and let me see how the different shaped nails would look on my hand. And that was her suggestion… she wanted to make sure I liked what I got. She’s the best. I found my new nail girl.

Mid-City Nails has a low-key, chic vibe that I really like. It’s clean, relaxing and the staff is accommodating. I think patrons should manage their expectations when scheduling any kind of services. Sometimes client appointments run a little over, which is to be expected and not a big deal. The nail techs take their time and do nice work, which I appreciate.

No other salon will do my nails. Quality not quantity. My previous tech would make me wait even tho I had an appointment. I would get a gel manicure, my nails were always uneven and looked fake. V-1 nail is my go to for about 6 yrs now. Maybe longer. They did my lashes, too for a year.

The salon was beautiful and very peaceful and my manicure looks great. I haven’t ever had a Russian manicure before and I love how clean and well shaped it leaves your nails. Would definitely come back! Also I don’t get gel polish but I can imagine that this method would help gel manicures to look fresh for longer.
